Sales rep just called, it's there at the dealership. He is checking with the manager to see if we can go pick it up yet today. For the love of God please say yes manager!!!!
EDIT: Sales rep just called, it's a go for today!!!! We are heading there now.
Still in Cottage Grove, crazy thing is no one knows or can tell when a transport truck will be available. In today's day and age of planning logistics and maximizing $ this is truly nuts that no one seemingly has a plan.
I just inquired about an assembly line pic today. And was told it’s a random thing they do and not everyone gets one. Kind of bummed. I got one on our first bronco and would love to see one on our second as well.
I hope your deal went well today and you have your Bronco home. As of yesterday our 2 door Eruption Green was dropped off of the rail car and awaiting a truck for transport. We too worried about trade in and interest rate on delivery day. A month ago we went with a car max offer $800 below...
understood, we’re not counting on any specific day to go get it. Just glad it’s just one trip away from the dealer now. We are looking forward to having our AMB 4 door Sasquatch’d Base joined by the EG 2 door Sasquatch’d Base in the driveway though.
The Bronco moved today and is now in Minnesota waiting for a transport to take it to the dealer. Unfortunately there is no information on when this is scheduled to occur.
Our Bronco has been unloaded from a CSX rail car in Chicago 5 days ago According to Ford Customer Service. It needs to get to Sioux Falls SD Yet none of them can tell me if it’s waiting for a BNSF rail car or a truck transport. Let alone when it will be on the move again.
Dang, it’s similar for me, except mines in a Chicago rail yard. The first delivery window was as early as Nov 26. Now the bronco sits in a yard and I get told Dec20th.
I know it's happening per the Ford Customer Service, the rail car it was on is heading back east and the Bronco is at the Chicago switch yard waiting for a BNSF rail car. I've been following the Bronco since it left Michigan and was originally told BNSF would just take over the rail car when it...
Anyone here happen to have had their Bronco change rail cars while in transit from CSX to BNSF in the Chicago rail yard? That's my situation with my wife's 2 door. Looking for any info on how long this process took for yours and if this is a common occurrence or uncommon.
