  1. 165k Reservations might be the 2021 cut off and a tall order to fulfill.

I bet less than half of reservations will be turned into orders. The last I heard production starts in April (we'll see) with deliveries targeted for June. Between 6,000-7,200 produced a week depending on the week, so average that out to 6,600 a week when production is in full swing. So let's...
  2. More Broncos testing at Silver Lake Sand Dunes

The 33's on the non-squatch look small in the pics. They usually look pretty good with the 33's. Don't make me spend $5k on a package I have no need for for Ford!
  3. B&O Sound System with 10 speakers including a subwoofer (Is it worth it? How about stand-a-lone purchase $$

I can almost assure you that the base system will be really bad. Even the B&O upgrade in some of Ford's other vehicles are trash so who knows.
  4. Our latest simulated Bronco Sasquatch in production colors & white tops / fenders

Let me have Cyber Orange on the Big Bend or base! Please Ford!
  5. Second Thoughts on Manual Transmission

I've driven a Ranger with the 10 speed. It's not a bad transmission by any means, it's just oriented towards MPG. In the Ranger atleast. Tuning dictates that too though. Compared to the ZF 8-speed in my Charger, it felt a bit sloppy and clumsy. Now if that 8-speed was in the Bronco, I'd...
  6. Second Thoughts on Manual Transmission

I get bored with vehicles really easily and a truck or SUV generally doesn't have a "fun to drive" factor. I'm thinking the manual will keep me from getting bored as quick and have a fun factor that the auto just won't have. Not to mention, the 10 speed auto is designed specifically with one...
  7. I just drove a new Ford Ranger w/ 2.3L from Alabama to Pennsylvania

Probably debating between manual or auto. I'll take the manual with the smaller engine any day. I mean that giant 2.7 is a whole .4 liters bigger!
  8. Second thoughts on cyber orange?

If I could get Cyber on Big Bend that would be my first choice. I'll have to settle for Race Red or Area 51. Or wrap it Plum Crazy Purple.
  9. Big sellers for the mid package?

Heated seats, blind spot, and proximity entry / keyless entry.
  10. Why are you choosing the Bronco over competitors like 4Runner and Wrangler?

I have a Jeep TJ now and I love it but I would not want to daily it. It's just a weekend beach cruiser. The Bronco powertrains and IFS are the major factors for wanting a Bronco over a new Wrangler. I've driven several JLs and they're fine. But the biggest shortcomings for me are the solid...
  11. What colors do you wish to see for the Bronco in the future?

Bright colors! The only "fun" color for the Bronco is Cyber Orange. I'm coming from a Plum Crazy Purple Charger so the bland colors just don't do it for me. I'd love to see a Grabber blue and lime green. Seriously considering wrapping the Bronco purple ?
  12. can we discuss cloth seats and carpeting

We had quite few 100+ degree days where I'm from in NH this summer which is pretty common. It does get hot up here believe it or not. And then it gets really cold. Like your snots-freeze-inside your-nose-when-you-take-a-breath cold.
  13. Is the 2.3 really enough for the 4door?

Outside of the MT82, Getrag has a pretty good reputation. That's not to say I'm not a little bit nervous about ordering the 7-speed.
  14. Let's Be Honest About Our Intended Use

Daily driver with occasional light off-road use. It's actually harder to find trails and such in NH than you'd think. The roads here are bad enough that I consider myself to off-road every day really.
  15. Manual or the 2.7

I really don't see Ford offering the manual with the 2.7 anytime in the near future. The manual is going to be very low volume sales wise. The only reasons they offer the manual are 1. People will complain that they don't offer it, even though most of the people complaining have no intention of...
  16. Sasquatch, to do or not to do? That is the question!

My TJ has the 3.08's with 5 speed manual and even with the 4.0 going up to a 30" on that thing made it a dog.
  17. Base + Aftermarket 35s?

Don't forget gearing and speedo recalibration. There's a reason the Sasquatch package comes with a 4.70 gear with the 35"s.
  18. Manual or the 2.7

My thought is that trucks/SUV's are not inherently fun to drive and I feel like the manual will give it some fun factor over the auto. I'm coming from a purple Charger Daytona... I need to keep some of the excitement.
  19. Hesitant to Order Before Test Drive?

My only real concern is the manual trans. I'm a little hesitant with it being an all new trans, especially a Getrag unit. And clutch pedal feel / shift quality etc. is easy to get wrong. From the limited amount of info out there, the test drivers seem to really like the 2.3 with the manual, so...
  20. Manual or the 2.7

The 2.7 is an excellent little engine. I loved it in my F-150 and the Bronco will be a little hot rod with it. I just value the manual more than the 2.7.
