You need that opening for cooling. I think trans cooler is in there but not 100% sure.

Im digging the vortex one, less bulky, install anywhere at any angle, remove easy, less prone to damage if installed too low. Im thinking of pulling the trigger. There isnt too many out there anyway. Trying to find the best solution for my need.

Thanks. Only problem with this design is that when you try to remove it everytime you go on the trail, because screws mount into plastic, plastic will wear out from you screwing and unscrewing and after removing it 10 times, it will not hold anymore unless you use bigger screws and start all...

I didnt see any side shots. You have any pins to remove it? I was talking accidental damage. I figure when I hit something with bracket above in original post, it will just flip back on hinges and bracket is still straigh, while yours will bend and get damaged. Of course, Im just talking...

So yours can only be mounted in one place, under the bumper. Not ideal solution for everyone. Also, if for some reason you bend it when hitting something, it will be disformed. I saw someone on this forum making a similar one to yours and it didnt work for me for that reason. I guess that is...
