Well, that would make sense since there is a pedal input, I'm sure the EBA has some kind of mode with key off, 12V live. If there are no inputs, it's inactive.
My point is, the EBA status has no effect on replacing pads or bleeding fluid, ASSUMING of course you don't trigger any inputs during...
Maverick service says the same thing, but it's not necessary to bleed the brakes, I've done it with no issues. There are some early year Mavericks that will not go into brake service mode (DIY), and Ford has no fix. Thus, the manual method of retracting the EPB. I've done that too, works...
Unless the Bronco EBA is different than the Maverick (I don't think it is), the EBA is off when the key is off, and has no effect on brake bleeding. Can anyone show evidence the EBA systems operate differently?
That's a short sighted conclusion for an ME, there are MANY factors that determine the best application.
I would also challenge there are more chain related critical engine issues vs belts, industry wide.
Watching the top fuelers from the end of the track is so cool, to see them jump ahead before you hear the throttle.... THAT is a serious launch! 😱 I still can't figure out how those guys stand to be around the nitro, it makes me a slobbery snotty mess...😅
Looks like a great day with the kiddo! 🙂
