Yeah, kinda regretting passing up the Texas GroupBuy. My dealer used stickly language like "At MSRP" instead of dealing in terms of invoice. I called to clarify and he said invoice +2.9. Honestly, I'd be happy to just get confirmation of invoice pricing. But it will cost me the difference to...
A few threads stickied to this forum share invoice pricing of the various trims without any options.
With the new changes have we recieved any new information? My local dealer has said they can offer invoice + 2.9% on the sale. Just curious if the numbers in the stickies are accurate.
I think this is correct. Seems Ford has walked back any claims of a free AT for any reason.
Basically, if your model doesn't include AT, you have to pay for it when going SAS, Remote Start or 2.7.
Which, at the end of the day makes sense but totally contradicts 2 mo of FOMOCO rep statements...
LOL I think the final number is correct, but yes the summary is crud. I'm not a web designer, but boy a little foresight probably would have made this really easy to update. Right?
Like an excel table and a number of formulae which automatically update to table entries?
That makes sense for sure, did we really think Mansquatch would come at a discount? We probably brought the pricing model up with all our demands.
Supply and demand - we demand, they supply.
For a price.
It does beg the question why Ford made auto mandatory for SAS in the first place...
Totally agree, their pricing model makes it easy to rationalize spending less money. I would likely shell out $45k if I could get the options I want less the ones I dont. As it stands? I'll be spending right around $40 or less.
I'm not going to push into the high 40s for an amalgam of things I...
Good theory - makes some sense. However, I think the 2d base is subsidized to get the cost below 30k for marketing purposes. "Starting at $28500 - The all new 2021 Ford Bronco. Born Wild..." And whatnot.
4d Base: $34795 - $1595 (factory AT) = $33200
4d Base - 2d Base = $33200 - $28500 = $4700...
Levine has said that for the models which charge $9000 for the sasquatch, that the AT was charged twice and the real price is more like $7500. Not sure if the 4d base was affected.
The MGV + washout is a great option. I love it a lot. One of my very favorite options for this vehicle. But at $5k? The floor mats look to have excellent coverage and Katzkin can give me leather or vinyl for $1.5k.
I see the aftermarket flooding this truck with better bumpers and armor...
I agree here, the above was for an apples-apples comparison. I will likely get the armor-equipment aftermarket as well and give Ford even less of my money!
I might have been tempted to the BD trim, but 5k is too much for MGV seats and a carpet-delete.
My build is finally settled upon, and it took a lot of B&P work to get there. I see Ford wants to push us into higher models. But for me, Ford's pricing model made going cheaper an easy choice. I decided upon the look I like best:
That Carbonized Gray 4d Base looked beautiful. So...
