I was pretty much set on BB until the B&P showed 4A as not a stand alone option. Still hoping it's a mistake, but if not I'll move on to OBX. Not that far of a leap anyway since everything I need but 4A is already standard on the OBX, and 4A is a stand alone option. My BB and OBX builds are only...
I like it too, but the bright blue accents and stitching seem like an odd choice. I've been going back and forth between area 51 and cactus gray, and now I'm trying to decide which looks better with that interior. Nice B&R. I've had a pvd diver but never bronze. Yours is getting a nice patina.
BD and OBX are polar opposites, and yet I'm torn between the two. By the time I build the BD to my specs it costs the same as my OBX build because the OBX has most of what I want standard. Still, the marine vinyl keeps me looking at the BD.
What makes me think it's a mistake is if you add the 2.7 to the OBX, which already has an auto, you're charged the full $1895. I think there are a few major glitches that they'll correct. Another one is on the BB, if you add the mid package for $1495, you get the $1595 auto for free? That can't...
Sadly I think that's a glitch. I was psyched myself when adding both auto and 2.7 was only $1895, but also skeptical. Then when I did the same thing on an OBX, adding the 2.7 (already had an auto) was $1895. Even so, upgrading to the 2.7 is a little less than I expected. Overall, aside from...
Same here, 4A is pretty much a must. It's got to be a glitch. I think? I go back and forth between the wheels and grill, for me it varies with the color I choose. The gray looks good with some, but not so much with others.
I'm 99% sure it's a mistake, because it's not that way on any other trim. Plus, when I first built a BB, I added the 2.7, auto, and mid all for $1895. If that were real, I'd jump all over it. If the auto really is included with mid in the BB, that would make my decision much easier, it'd be BB...
Keep in mind, if you're building a BB, there are glitches, like if you add mid you get the auto for free. That's clearly a mistake. When I build mine, accounting for glitches, by the time I add auto, mid, signature lights, and steps, I'm only $1290 away from the OBX. And that's MSRP. I'm...
I could always delete my post, but somehow I don't think the post is what will bring that detail to Ford's attention. I think at one point, I got the 2.7, auto, and mid all for $1895. If I could have ordered before they noticed I would have.
Two issues I noticed trying to build a Big Bend.
1. Adding the mid package automatically gives you auto for free.
2. If I try to add advanced 4x4, it makes me add Sasquatch. Is it not a stand alone option on BB?
I can say that I've spoken with NayNay and she was very helpful and friendly, at a time I couldn't even get a basic reply from my reservation dealer. I was going to switch on the spot, because I have full trust that she will honor what she says, but my wife hit me with the curve ball that she...
Mine is very basic - 2 door Big Bend, Area 51, adding auto, mid, and possibly advanced 4x4 depending on price. I hope to see Area 51 in person on a Sport before ordering because its hard to get a good idea what it really looks like from online pics.
I'm self employed and work at home, so it just depends how busy I am. I'll definitely be spending any spare time on it Friday, but really I already know what I plan to build, I'm just hoping the pricing is in line with my expectations.
