I would definitely think if you're in preview and have a VIN it's too late.
My question is that for those of us being forced to re-order a 2022 this fall due to being pushed, whether we'll have the opportunity to change dealers @FordMotorCompany. I get that Ford cannot (and don't want to) be...
Sure, just type in 2021 Bronco in the Ebay search window and bend over for the huge ADM being requested and hit "Buy it now". There have been other posts here as well from other on-line car adds from dealers stating available for immediate sale.
Sounds like you were talking to someone working their first day on the Ford Bronco customer care line. Countless threads on here about the hardtops and even Fords own communications reference the issues.
So, we get the prep kit for the hardtop if we order the soft top now, well September. Then we can order the MIC top in 2023 as an accessory for more money. Does it still include the sound deadening which is another $495 if it doesn't?
I know I'm asking for it but what about an International Scout from which the Bronco was clearly derived?? Please send all hate mail to my spam folder. ;-)
Please attach link, I know it will swamp the individual checking but if they're willing, I'd love to get an idea of build date - even if it's an estimate.
@DealerInsider, @ZackDanger
I reached out to my dealer rep Friday after the news dropped to inquire about my deposit if I decide to bail on this debacle. Here is his response:
"I can talk to my GM and see if he will refund your deposit but it probably wouldn’t happen until the Bronco that you...
I think we all agree that Ford did a great job designing it or we all simply wouldn't be here. They did a great job hyping it, they developed it as a sub-brand (thus placing themselves in the position of ensuring this rollout goes smoothly), heck they've even convinced 100+ dealers to build...
Ditto for me as well. My small dealer is simply saying it's in Ford's hands now. They had around 90 reservations but only 15 converted. I'm hoping I fall within their allocation but I have no clue how many the dealer will get or where I am on the list.
So, if you're only ordering now (not changing an existing order) you're a 2022 anyway. Those of us with early reservation numbers from last July and buildable configurations will be lucky to receive our Bronco's in August.
