I've just watched two videos of a jeep and a 4 runner trying to climb near vertical walls in moab. It took both almost 5 minutes and many attempts to get over. Better grow a third foot for the break pedal if you try it. But of course, most won't go there and most that go won't try such a crazy...
It's going to make you look like you have never driven manual as it changes the throttle map. Hopefully it doesn't, but in another make the throttle change in "sport" mode ruined my shifts.
Ford has been doing grey plastic bumpers and other trim pieces for a long time. I didn't like it on the Raptor and had a body shop paint them flat black. I guess the grey is the cheapest or blends with the most things, but it's been around forever. I'm glad they give us an option to change it...
For those that think group shipping is an option, you are very optimistic. Your bronco isn't going to sit on that lot for two months waiting for others who live in your area.
Plus I really hope the DMV's are open by then...
I can't wait until Build and Price is released so I can storm into the local dealer and start negotiating with the salesman on a vehicle that won't be delivered for 12 months on the margin on the Lux package. Go ahead, talk to your manager. I got tons of time.
Ford should do something where every Bronco delivered to reservation customer gets them an order in the system. Screw people out of reservation bronco and you don't get to order any for dealer stock. If you are such a good dealer that tons of people put reservations in, you get to order a bunch...
I have a viar 90p. 81 bucks on Amazon. It has filled my Raptor 35's in Death Valley when it was hot. Note the duty cycle is important as if it gets too hot they should shut down. This one did not and it reached all my tires too with no extensions or anything. Tiny, I think I own two or three now...
Sometimes the KO2's on the Raptor seem to have a balance issue. Not sure if it's that balance or a rock in the tread. Makes the empty passenger seat vibrate. But that's at 80-85. No noise really.
That seems to be the only way I buy vehicles. 94 Viper, 97 Viper GTS, 2005 Mustang, 2005 Ford GT, Raptor although I got to drive at their events first, Jag F-Type, Range Rover Velar. Except for the Viper GTS I picked up at the factory I could have walked away from all of them after I saw them.
I stuffed the nose of my Raptor. Set off the seat belt pyro but not the airbags.
All these things are going to be mandated soon. So enjoy the lack of them while you can.
One of the things that annoys me about jeeps is they always drive so slow. Trails, roads, doesn't matter. Always crawling along 10 or 20 below the limit. Hoping the bronco won't have this problem.
Buy a bronco, drive for five years, then buy a toyota. It will still be exactly the same. And for people who say toyotas never break, I've been watching winder towing youtube videos from st. george Utah. The only vehicle that broke was a toyota. He had to go weld a spacer onto a wheel as the...
