  1. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

So to answer @Snacktime's question- don't forget, you asked: I am not a lawyer but think there may be some recourse. On the front end, a shot at the alphabet soup like BBB and FTC might be warranted for failure to deliver. Getting more serious - if there is an actual partnership, DBA's are a...
  2. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

@mcinfantry and @ScLeCo you guys made me laugh. @Snacktime you are the OG skeptic on this thread - yeah, I read the whole thing - nice job sounding the alarm early. Look, I like this product. I want this top and I have to stop looking at their web site and media. That Fabian seems like a...
  3. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

Thanks to all who have had input here on both sides. Counterpoint discussion can help provide clarity as long as we focus on facts. All appearances are that Armadillo has: done very well designing a desirable product. I sure want one. did well to get the support of a partner in Texas...
  4. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

@SierraBronco's commentary, though maybe a little off the cuff is actually not far from the truth of what the terms represent. It is not just the word salad, it is the combination of words, their meaning and contradictions. Anyone who thinks this type of language is ok because they had a...
  5. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

@mcinfantry I really want to. Are you involved? Can you provide more clarity? These young dudes and their incubator have the scent of some bad Kickstarters I have backed. Still don't have that 3D printer but there were trade shows and media as well as a handful of deliveries. Sound...
  6. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

I love the looks of the Armadillo top. I like the concept of opening it all up by removing strategic panels. I think the liners and accessories; all very cool and could add substantially to the utility of the vehicle. I really want one for my Bronco and would be willing to pay their price for...
  7. 2025 MSRP & Invoice

If not just looking for information MY2025, I can speak to the 2023 Raptors. Having interacted with several dealers in the Northeast (NY, NJ, MA, PA), there are generally two possible outcomes: 1. They will stand firm on the $6,000.00 incentive Ford offers; 2. Discounting and negotiating for...
  8. ProCal 4 Comprehensive Guide to all Gauges (key, abbreviations, meaning, units, etc)

My ProCal 4 screen is also finicky. It would not take commands at each press. Especially the back command at the top. So, I started using my pinky tip and it smoothed out a little. It is apparently a very sensitive/small contact area in the programming of the touch screen and might benefit...
  9. Do (mostly) no issues Broncos exist?

Three days in during first wash, "new" 2023 MIC top found delaminated and surface cracked. Had asked dealer via email to check before pickup 2.5 hrs away. They are helping me get it fixed it under warranty.
  10. Issue: 2023 Bronco Raptor loud thunk in 4a and 4h

I am sorry no one has answered you and I wish I had an answer for you, but only have more evidence of challenges with the drivetrain. There seems to be some deep seated "stuff" with the drivetrain on some of these machines. Bad parts, bad humans asssembling the parts, both, nither, who knows...
  11. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

No hard feelings, we are all here to celebrate these machines. Some just get a little carried away.🙂
  12. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

Trade in the Wildtrack then get his and hers models. The black would be great with some hot pink rokblokz mud flaps and the shelter green for the gentleman!
  13. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

Here it is soaking wet waiting for someone to take it home.
  14. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

    1. Color: Shadow Black Options: onyx leather trim seats, code orange seat belts, bead lock capable wheels, carbon fiber pack, keyless entry, storage bags. Mods: purchased it with the Ford Performance Tune M-9603-BR30 installed maybe different steps - I like the rock slide engineering...
  15. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

@Calm horse I get it, we live in a microwave world. Had one long ago, saw the new one. Too much $$. Waited, watched - got one. BEEP!
  16. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

The only picture that might exist of the '83 would have belonged to one of those prom dates. I only ever saw it once (the picture, not the date - she was great) and it may not have survived the years. I do wish I had one but still remember it vividly. It looked a lot like this but with swing...
  17. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

Wow, @Ford Motor Company weighing in on intro's. Very cool, indeed. We should all get joy from the things we bring into our lives. I smile every time I walk out in the garage, but the real satisfaction is the shared experience and smiles on the faces of the humans in the other seats!
  18. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

Glad you enjoyed the story. Give me an idea of the details you want fleshed out. You are a keen reader, however I am not an official member of the Tribe, just closely adjacent friend of many peoples. The deal is complete, it is in the driveway, so I am not worried about jinxing it any more...
  19. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

@DriveAllNight and @Num Num: Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. This is a multimedia platform, I get it. However suspense is tool and your mind a powerful platform. I painted a picture and now you want me to just give it away? You didn't even buy me dinner yet. Also, I was not...
  20. It all began with a Bronco - a "short" story

"Showroom Legends" - I like it. They are "raptors" which, historically speaking, were pretty high up in the food chain and literally had wider hips, anatomically speaking. They were fast and powerful for their size as well as you say "ruthless" predators.
