But the JL actually tells you if it's running and the key fob isn't in the vehicle - to alert you not to drive away without it.
I kinda assumed the Bronco would do the same....
Now as to the current mistery, well...
Once it starts hitting 100 daily here in Vegas, the top on my JL stays on for the duration. I will take the front panels off from time to time (and stow in the back), but I keep a front sunshade on all the time. Even sitting in your front seat, 20 minutes of the summer sun here will fry your...
Ignore the 'ratings' of the vehicles in this list. Just look at what comprises the 'Compact Utility Segment'.

Two of these are not like the others.
Seriously, the Wrangler is in the same catagory as a CR-V and a Tuscon? A Ford Escape...
This has been beat about in depth on the JL forums for a few years now. Lot's of people, myself included, swear by the Apex Badland.
It's been around long enough now, that if there were design or systematic QC issues, it would be all over the off road forums. The truth is, it's a great winch...

As a small business owner, I tell my employees all the time, 'No matter how great you are at doing your job, your best ability is always availability. Your talents are worth nothing if your not here to use them'.
It's tribalism at it's finest: I have to justify the uncomprable awesomeness of what I own by any means, otherwise I might question the validity of my descisions.
Parallel case: all other groups must be wrong/false, because my group knows the real "truth". Giving them any credit means I am...
Great example of a bump starting the resonance. Beyond control issues, a lot of the danger comes from having to slow down to under 20mph to get it to stop -particularly when you're doing 75 in the fast lane...it can become quite problematic.
...and every time it happens there is a good...
As it happens consistantly at those speeds, I'd also second an out of balance tire, or something out of whack in the geometry after the lift.
Just as an aside: 'death wobble' is not a consistant vibration. It occurs in a SFA when one wheel hits a bump at high speed and loose (or miss aligned)...
