So while the MGV will fit on the factory cloth seats, I'll need something else for the back pieces? I noticed the MGV goes in to the seat back more. The cloth seats are more flat on the back. What about the molle panels? My cloth seats do not have molle.
Background: I have a 23 Wildtrak with cloth seats. While they're nice, I've been concerned with rain soaking into them. My short term answer was to get Rough Country neoprene covers. They address the rain, but they're not as tight as I'd like. I have an opportunity to buy a full set of MGV...
This is a long shot, but for those that attended the Super Celebration in Wisconsin July 12-15th, does anyone by chance have a sticker from that event? Specifically, looking for one that resembles this one but with the year on the sticker? I'm looking to buy one as I forgot to pick one up...
Really depends on what your tool brand is. For me, I use nothing but Makita. My late edition was the ratchet. Works reliably everytime and has great power.
I agree. My concern with the 4 hooks is that it puts direct pressure at those locations. Two boards with eyelets at the corners of each board will redistribute the load better as the top would essentially be resting on the boards vs having the hooks pulling on a very small surface area. Just...
Dumb question here, but by email are you referring to the message center in FordPass or an actual email to my personal email? If it's the latter, I haven't seen any recent emails from Ford and I'm not sure I'm setup to get emails. FordPass already has my email so I would think that would be enough.
I got mine a couple of weeks ago and tried it out. Fits very well. While I haven't had it in the rain yet, I think if you had sideways driving rain, some "could" get in, but it would be very, very tough. It covers all the openings completely and the hooks ensure to doesn't want to go...
I have fabric seats, but I'm ordering some neoprene seat covers to repel the inevitable rain when the top is off. This, along with a Bimini top, will hopefully lead to a dry butt. It's between these two:

I'll look again , but I didn't see any. Wondering if they're under the carpet and if so, they're probably closed is my guess. Also, since it is carpet, mildew and mold may become an issue. I'm thinking fans or in the summer, let it air dry in the heat.
So I have a Bimini too, but if a flash rainstorm pops up and gets past it what do I do afterwards? I have carpeted floors with Ford rubber contoured mats. The seats are also cloth. Just leave the top off and let it air dry?? What happens to the water in the well or even in the fabrics of the...
Looks like I just got it in the last 24 hours. I screenshot'd all I could find on it. Most happy with the modem updates. Hopefully this fixes some of the ongoing connection issues a lot of folks seem to be having with FordPass.
Question for the group... I've got a radar detector that's using the BYOD USB port for power and when I turn the engine off, my detector remains on. I shut the engine down almost 30 mins ago and the detector is still on. Not what I was looking for. Ideally, the port would turn off when the...
Just thinking about this, but with the heat building up so much when wireless charging maybe the answer is to put something thin, 1/8", under that holds up the phone in a few points, but still allows for charging? This way the heat that is generated has a place to go. So my temp solution is...
Running with just the front three panels and removing the rear cab is not a good idea. The first three are inter-locking and depend on the rear being there. I think you'd be asking for trouble. Just run a Bimini if you want that look and remove any possibility for problems.
