  1. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Did you go ā€œstraightā€ from built to final prep, or did you get a shipped date?
  2. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

I didn't discuss it with her before buying it, which isn't something I would typically do. She was SUPER pissed when I showed up at home with it. Asked if she wanted to take it for a spin. Don't know if I've seen that drastic a mood swing in the 16 years we've been together :)...it's pretty fun...
  3. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

Thanks! I’m still going to get the Bronco (I think). Probably cost less with the PP than the used Raptor was, but it’s going to be a harder decision to make than it would have been in the Accord.
  4. Fully Naked thread! -- All Doors and Tops Off Pics

Nice! Is that the JTops? If so, did you have to get licensing approved by someone at OSU? I wanted a big ass Block O, but don’t know who/what office to contact for the licensing…
  5. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

I went out and bought a low-mileage used Raptor a week ago bc I didn’t think there was a chance in hell Ford would hit their Q4 mark, and after three years of waiting, couldn’t stand the thought of driving my 2009 Accord another 6-10 months. Of course! šŸ˜‚
  6. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

Double check your VIN. It seems they’re clearing them. Mine showed under recall this morning. Bunch of people in the 4/24 (I think) build thread were posting theirs had been released, so I checked again tonight, and sure enough…
  7. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Check VIN for recall again…earlier today, mine was still showing up with the recall. I checked a few moments ago, and it’s good to go now. I went out and bought a Bridge Raptor a week ago, as I suspected Ford would blow its own ā€œQ4ā€ anticipated fix date and I’d be waiting well into ā€˜24 for the...
  8. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

Ugh. This is SO wildly disappointing.
  9. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

Did anyone at Granger confirm they cannot sell it due to the recall? I’ve been holding onto hope that those of us that sat around ā€œin productionā€ until AFTER the 5/9 recall end date would have gotten the fix before shipping (unlikely, I know), and the NHTSA website just wasn’t updated… This is...
  10. Recall 23C16 & Delivery Hold : Seat Belt Latch Plate Access For 2021-2023 Bronco w/ Production Build Dates 9/23/20 - 5/9/23

I feel ya. 7/22/20 res, blend 4/11, held for rear axle until 6/29 when I get the status change to built. Now this. Why even provide that glimmer of hope when they knew this was coming? Fuck.
  11. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

ā€œYour vehicle has been built *except for a seatbelt latch plate that may result in occupant dissatisfaction,ā€ so we can’t sell it to you. You’d think they could put the clip on the belt when they finally got around to taking care of the rear axle issues ~80 days after going into production. I...
  12. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

We hit that sweet spot: 4/10 build week hosed by ā€œin productionā€ purgatory, coupled with the recall going into effect just prior to shipping. Thought I had a chance of taking delivery before the 3 year res anniversary this month. Just when you think this shit show can’t get anymore out of hand...

  15. Recall 23C16 & Delivery Hold : Seat Belt Latch Plate Access For 2021-2023 Bronco w/ Production Build Dates 9/23/20 - 5/9/23

Shared by @Triathlonfun in another thread. Check your VIN to see if you’ve won the seatbelt recall lotto and say goodbye to Summer delivery if so.
  16. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

    Dealer confirmed. Unbelievable.
