Actually had a bird manage to drop a deuce into my old 320i through the sunroof. Never had any issues with my old Boxster or Z3, which were the only open top vehicles I've owned.
I currently drive a 4x4 Ranger with the 2.3 auto so I'm assuming it will be comparable. I rent Wranglers on vacation every year so I also assume it won't be too different than that. I'd love to drive it first but if I can't I'm not overly concerned.
Same here. I was firmly BB, but was adding mid and auto. Getting a 2 door, so it's already a hard top. I come up with the same $1800 difference. I know I'd end up buying side rails, so now I'm down to about a $1500 difference for the niceties, and I'm leaning toward it's worth it. I think I'm...
I was originally torn between base and BB, but my wife convinced me I needed the BB, which I guess is fair since I'm trading in her car and not my truck. But after seeing the pricing, by the time I add what I (my wife) need, I'm within about $1500 of the OBX. The OBX doesn't really give me...
I'd like to see a larger wheel/tire option for the base, without buying the Sasquatch package. I really don't want to spend an extra $5k to move up to the BB just for the wheels and AT tires. Maybe something similar to the STX appearance package on my Ranger.
I've had 2 passengers, kayaks, and bikes in my Ranger on mountain roads with no problem. That said, I went from a 4 cylinder with <200 HP into the Ranger, so to me it feels powerful. I haven't really even considered moving up to the 2.7 in my Bronco. I'd probably enjoy the extra power, but I...
I reached out to my dealer (Miller Ford in Mt Holly) to see if they'd be interested in offering a discount for a large number of reservations, and they didn't bite. Just reiterated that they'd be at MSRP and honor x-plan if eligible. She's reaching out to their rep to see if anyone knows yet...
My wife loves it. In fact, when I was buying my Ranger she said I should wait for the Bronco, but it was still just a concept at the time and I needed a new truck. We'll be trading in her car for it. Only problem is I'd have been fine with a base, she needs creature comforts.. She's got me up to...
Have they gotten back to you? I was going to buy my Ranger from Stan there, but then the pandemic hit and everything shut down. I ended up buying over here in NJ because they opened up first. Stan was good to deal with, I'd definitely switch my reservation over there.
New guy here, but I would participate. My reservation is currently at Miller Ford in Mt Holly, NJ. Just bought my Ranger there. They have told me there will be no ADM and they do accept X-plan, which I'm eligible for. My reservation is a 2 door base, but I think I'll be changing to a 2 door Big...
