Yea, all of our orders from MAP come by convoy. I feel like rail will update on VV, since there are way more updates by rail. Each time that train car check in at a station it is updated on VV.
I have a soft top order coming in today. This Bronco was built over a month ago and was finally released yesterday. It wouldn't shock me if one of our Dirt Mountain Broncos are on this carrier as well. I will keep you guys informed.
Ford may not email you with a build date change. The best way to know where you are currently at is to contact your dealer and ask them to pull vehicle visibility on your order. It should give them an up-to-date status for your order.
You are correct, it is more expensive to ship the tops later. My point is that the benefits outweigh the cost. I am sure the cost to fix 3,000+ additional roofs would be between $6,000,00-12,000,000. Let's factor in that the average buyer will spend $1,000 at the dealer on accessories...
It is really all about weighing the cost of shipping them out now vs. later. Since it seems like Ford will not be able to rely on the production of soft top units as heavily as they originally thought, sending out Dirt Mountain Broncos is a solution for Ford to cash out now and fix later.
Yes...
I have builds that were scheduled for 9/27 that are now pushed back to 11/15. I'd imagine that we will see another email by the end of this week explaining another delay. I genuinely feel bad for these individuals who switched to a soft top, thinking it would finally give them the ability to see...
this would be one of the least shocking thing to happen. Given that they believe it will take until 2023 to fulfill the original orders, I would wager that things aren’t going to plan with MIC 2.0.
Same here. Lead generation is down significantly in the past three months. Most consumers aren't interested in paying "Market Value" for most vehicles. We have 8 Broncos on Dirt Mountain that I would love to get delivered this month.
The Bronco Customer Satisfaction Program makes me think they are further behind than they originally anticipated. Giving a dealer up to $1000 per customer leads me to believe that this email coming by the end of this month (to explain delivery timing for Dirt Mountain) is going to piss off a lot...
I just checked our order bank and it looks like every order that got a build date in the last two weeks has now been pushed back at least a month. Just when you think things are getting better, here comes another delay.
Not sure why all of these soft top orders are getting pushed, but I have a...
I hope and pray for an early exit from Dirt Mountain, but facts are facts. Our Ford rep didn’t have any info today, and I understand that there is a chance that another Ford Rep might know more, but at this point until we see it in writing it isn’t true.
Ford recently came out with the Bronco...
