Don't forget that many also have the valve "action". We have been advised by Ford of 3 known issues and that no parts are available. It is good that we are all such patient people.

If you go the standard nut and use a washer, if you get "Fender Washers" they tend to be somewhat thinner than standard washers. We used them on our battery hook up and it gives the nuts just a little more thread to grab hold of.
