Only trouble with this area is the chance of snow this time year. If you drive north right out of town you will find the old mine area. Keep driving and you will find a couple loops all 2x2. Take the Mine Tour if you like mines. East Willow Creek road requires 4x4. Some moose live there...
Is it correct that since it is a recall, there is NOT an end date to get this repaired?
We have very low miles and will drive a while before getting it in under recall, if possible.
All the photos of cracked hard roofs look about the same. Have any of you had the cracks continue to crack and fissure until the roof became a danger?
Mine is past 3 year/36,000 and not cracking...yet. If it begins I don't know that I will replace it very soon. So wondering how bad others...
Our 2 door with Mickey Thompson Baja AT that are E rated, do excellent at 29 psi.
We live on the equivalent of logging roads. We have to drive rock.dirt every day to get to a paved road.
Look up "tire chalk test". That will let you know at what PSI you get full thread contact with your...
Don't forget that many also have the valve "action".
We have been advised by Ford of 3 known issues and that no parts are available.
It is good that we are all such patient people.
If you go the standard nut and use a washer, if you get "Fender Washers" they tend to be somewhat thinner than standard washers. We used them on our battery hook up and it gives the nuts just a little more thread to grab hold of.
For folks that have a tailgate tire holder that has a completely non-factory camera holder, will Ford replace it? Would they maybe exchange the camera for the owner to do the replacement work?
This is interesting as just this morning I was reading and trying to see benefits etc of Sea Foam and Techron.
Do you add just the one 16 ounce can when you do this?
We have driven Slumgullion Pass in Colorado many times as that area is prime for off road driving.
This is one of the steepest paved passes you will find. Staying off the gas and not caring if someone is behind us, we drive slow. Just an occasional tap on the brake is all we needed.

For most in the USA it is only a mythical vehicle........and I want one.
If we re wishing, I would also take one of these. I know where a couple of them are, abandoned and waiting for someone to simply drive them home.
If I was making a light, I would take note of the above picture. That looks much better. Not just cleaner but it looks like it will last much longer than an external clip.
That is a nice install and should work very well. I ran that antenna for years and I want your lights!!
The only other comment I will make is that your antenna is excellent but very stiff. Be careful with hitting low ceilings in parking garages etc or limbs. If you don't have the spring they...
Our Sasquatch with Micky Thompsons have shown tire warning for 2 plus years. 28-30 psi sometimes allows us to drive for a day or so without any warning once we clear the warning by doing an increase in PSI as mentioned above. We also get one tire that might clear for a while while the rest...
Even when I open the door to see on the dash that it is still in flat-tow, I always ask Mrs. to pull forward as I observe the tires making certain they all turn and not drag. Many times a place we stop for the night might require a few sharp turns to get out and this gives opportunity to look...
I like Mobil 1 " Truck and Suv" version of their full syn. It meets or exceeds several specs that some of the Amsoil and other Mobil 1 versions do not. It is a great Ford spec oil as well as Dexos. Since we have several makes of engines on our place most of our gas engines get Truck and SUV...
And for your consideration, after doing a careful chalk test on our Black Diamond with Sasquatch size tires, our Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT E rated tires run with 30 PSI front and 29 PSI in the rear. 2 Years and zero abnormal wear. This is for on pavement daily driving.
@Ford Motor Company you have been asking owners to send you their information for over 3 years concerning this specific, exact complaint. Have you ever "Looked into it on your end"?
If you did, THANK YOU, BUT you ain't never ever done nuthin about it!!!!!
May I recommend you stop looking and...
