Can you confirm these fit the Badlands Bilsteins? I have a pair from another shop that fit Sasquatch Bilsteins, but interfere with the lower reservoir of the badlands shocks.
Yep! Happens as I'm coming to a stop or shifting into reverse mostly. Camera also freezes for that time.
I use wireless Carplay, but seems that from some other threads its happening with Android Auto too. I wish there was a better way to report issues like this back to Ford with all the...
I really appreciate this feedback. I was considering their bumpers for the combination of simple looks and price.
I also struggled with their tailgate table mightily. I sent them pictures showing caliper measurements of the tabletop being thicker than the slots it was meant to sit in. They...
I got that PetSafe ramp for our blind dog (so uneven or big steps wouldn't work well), and it works. My two gripes are that it is a little bit short (so its a steep climb), and it's quite bulky when folded up. I'm still looking for a good solution to store it--or replace it with something lower...
I got the 4.2.3 update on 10/7, and have been having the backup camera and Spotify (streamed via wireless Carplay) freeze very regularly.
Its jarring when the music freezes because it makes a loud screeching/skipping noise for a moment. And it's not a great feeling when the camera stops...
heck yeah, glad to see this finally happening. Can’t wait to start seeing videos and reviews. But mostly, I can’t wait for a 2 door version.
I’ve spent a lot of time tying to make my cabin quieter. I haven’t had a lot of success with the hard top, but I eliminated a lot of road noise with...
For the love of all that is holy, use the little rubber strips that came in the toolkit to protect the bottom edge/corner when you go to put them back on. Better yet, use those and get a helper when you put them back on. I did not, and I just had to order touch up paint :(
Anyone have a video of the tailgate being opened (preferably with the spare off)? I'm confused how the gate and the tire mount can move together when their pivot points are on different axes (unless there's some sort of sliding mech between them, which doesn't seem like a great solution).
I put mine on the back glass, so I guess I can’t wheel with the top off. 🤷‍♂️
Didn’t want them on the body. Wasn’t sure how well they’d hold on the powder coated bumper. The LP/spare tire brackets are good ideas.
I upgraded all my speakers with speakers with 92db (1W at 1m) sensitivity speakers, and I don't have to turn the volume up as high as I did with stockers to get it as loud... Did you swap in less efficient speakers? I can't/won't/don't go over ~17 with the top on and windows up.
For the...
@broox Thanks for the tips and details--much appreciated! Just a couple more questions if you wouldn't mind..
Did you get M12s with a lower profile head than the ones that came installed from the factory? And/or did you counter bore holes in the platform to use those to secure the platform to...
My man! Would you be willing to post some of your overall dimensions, and maybe a link to the hinges?
The bedliner is honestly an awesome idea. I’m not thrilled with the indoor/outdoor carpet that seems to be the go-to for platforms. Was considering trying to find some robust vinyl that sort of...
This unistrut setup would actually help me too. My ceiling joists (where the hoist is) is high enough, but I have really low rafters. I can only lift the top up until my strap hits the rafters—maybe 6”? If I had something like this, it would gain me a few extra inches. Not the best picture to...
Added some scores and details to the B&O Sub Upgrade and Front Sound Deadening at the end of Post #2. (TLDR: they're both good; do them both).
I grabbed some of these resistors to plug into the harness where the rear seatbelt pretensioners/retractors lived. Most folks that remove their rear...
