Billet mount installed, took it for a quick test run (still have to attach the wires in the rear channel to hide them). Happy to report there is ZERO movement. Even when you shut the tailgate, the brake light/chase light doesn't shake at all.
the reason im considering tbis is to free up space for a cargo box im having built into the floor. it clears the magnaflow exhaut but that routes a bit different than the stock exhaust. And i dont feel the magnflow is worth 4k cost
just a heads up on cerakote, it doesn't hold up as well to the elements as powder coat. my expedition one swing arm cap is cerakoted and is already faded from its original color.
When i completely removed everything, i re-powdercoated the whole thing so i have not had any issue with mine. let me find the led's I used as well. i literally changed everything, even every bolt.

Has anyone removed the stock rear muffler resonators and just ran pipe from the hoop over the rear axle back (like the magnaflow)? Curious on the sound change.
it is significantly larger than both the stock cargo space and Jack space, the batteries are in there they're underneath the bar thet spans across (zoom in and you will see them)
Here are the part numbers for the new painted top. Worth noting is only the front panels come painted, the mid and rear you have to have painted. Also, the price for all these is the bare structure itself ($5800): no glass, seals, latches etc. And its undetermined if all the mic parts directly...
They will not allow you to pay to upgrade, I asked. Ford will only pay the dealer for like replacement. Meaning, if the part number they claim is not same as what came on that specific VIN (over the counter excluded), it will reject.
Have you thought about offering a tank that doesn't have this 5 mm plate on it that way again for those of us that have the under body protection it would make it much easier. Alternatively, if the tank itself was 1 inch shorter in height what would its capacity be reduced down to?
i think the concern with that new design is for those that have the next venture full underbody, those protective humps will make it even more difficult to find a solution to be able to fit the underbody over this tank
