  1. Wireless charger DIY

Route the cable to an adapter in the 12V outlet in the center console and it should charge faster & you won't get that pop up. I had to use a USB-C extension cable because the magsafe cords are too short.
  2. General Opinion: Manual Transmission (Update)

I had (have?) the rotational grinding noise in cold weather. Had the TSB performed just as it warmed up outside, and no issues since. If the noise comes back this fall, I'll head back to the dealership. I wouldn't have bought a Bronco if it weren't for the 7MT.
  3. RCI slider installation

Does WT have the gas tank skid plate like BL? I've only crawled around under my own (BL), but I gather the non-skid plate version is a little different. I just backed ~4 bolts out about 1". It was one of the easier, more straight-forward parts of the whole installation.
  4. Seeing gas mileage improving?

2dr 7MT Badlands. Got around 16.5mpg average for the first ~3500 miles on 87 octane. Includes some off-roading, but generally just normal driving (in Normal mode). Switched to 93 octane for 2 months and got 19.3mpg. Have had the Ford Performance 2.3L tune for just a couple of fill-ups and am...
  5. Cargo liner for those who remove 2nd row seats in 2 door??

So I just got one of these to put in front of my garage workbench, and its perfect. I had been also considering one on top of a plywood platform in my 2dr, but dear lord did it ever smell on the drive home. TSC stores these things outside, but we had to drive the whole way home with the...
  6. Hangover Build & Product Review Scores

Yep I used the silver version of that (along with leftover Noico which is basically the same product but made in Russia vs Kazakstan) for the whole rear end and it made a nice difference. I still don’t have my interior trim panels reinstalled since I did my sub and front deadening (with the...
  7. Hangover Build & Product Review Scores

No problem. I've been talking to @RagnarKon and he suggested trying to disable the B&O DSP in Forscan to see if that helps out my rear speakers (and maybe sub)--I plan to try it and see! Regarding the deadening: I went with the combo deadener/insulator product for the front because I felt the...
  8. Hangover Build & Product Review Scores

I think it's been in the 80s both days I've tackled it. Just need to drink water/gatorade instead of a garage beer and keep some rags handy to wipe up your sweat! No problem--For an Android, I think the charger the Course comes with would be good (probably would charge at 10W), but for an...
  9. Hangover Build & Product Review Scores

---Jtops Bronco Mesh Bikini Top--- Cost: $220 shipped from another forum member, plus $20 velcro kit from JTops Hangover Score: 4/5 Forgot to include this one in my original write-ups, but I installed it a few months ago. It's a 1st generation model, so the hooks at the front are under the...
  10. Hangover Build & Product Review Scores

These work quite well, even though you’ll naturally be putting your foot on the narrower part. Neither of us have missed them or slipped off of them. I do tend to step right over them when sliding out, but I know that will wear my seat bolster out prematurely.
  11. My 2023 2 Door Stereo Upgrade (Base Radio starting point)

Bass blockers would block the low frequencies from ever reaching the speaker. The internal crossover just prevents high frequencies from reaching the woofer and low frequencies from reaching the tweeter. It does nothing to stop the 4” speaker trying to play at 50hz if that’s the signal going to it.
  12. Hangover Build & Product Review Scores

March 2023 ---Goat Fab Pinch Flange Hider--- Cost: $140 from GOAT Fabrication Hangover Score: 1/5 It seems like my experience with these is unique (or at least I haven’t read about anyone else having this issue), but the fit is very poor. 2-doors don’t have any through holes in the rear ~14”...
  13. Hangover Build & Product Review Scores

Hey Folks, I wanted to document and give a brief review of all the modifications I make to (or trips that I take with) my Bronco—partly for myself, so I can keep track of what has been done—but mostly to help anyone else (hopefully using the search function!) since users of this forum have...
  14. Mabett rear speaker pods - totally worth it

I took the plastic cover off the seatbelt, and installed a rubber pad between the D ring and the speaker enclosure. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/mabett-6-5-rear-speaker-pods-available-now.60943/post-1786900 I'm thinking about taking them back apart to see if i wired the tweeter out...
  15. Mesa AZ Bronco for seat cover measurements

Did you ever get seat covers from them? Any pictures or review?
  16. Michigan Sold: Stabilizer Bar Disconnect Skid - $100 OBO

Removed after ~2000 miles from 2dr Badlands. Dirty from fluid film & collecting garage dust, but perfect condition. $100 OBO, will ship at buyers expense.
  17. Michigan Sold: ACFab Rear Shock Skids - $60

Selling like new ACFab rear shock skids. Found out they do not fit Badlands shock reservoir, but should fit the (physically higher) SAS, and definitely base or aftermarket. $100 $80 $60, willing to ship at buyers expense. Located in Metro Detroit.
  18. Joe's BadSquatch Build

Any details or pictures on how you made the jtops work with the squatch basket? They look like they both need to use the same holes to attach.
  19. B&O sound system complete upgrade - Done âś…

Yeah Stereo mode all the way. Appreciate this thread and the reply. Thanks. Great to know how much of an improvement it was over stock. The Hertz CX100 I put in the FL and FR at the same time as the PRV in the center just sounded so much better than stock that I couldn’t really tell what the...
  20. B&O sound system complete upgrade - Done âś…

Anyone delete/disconnect their center speaker? I replaced it with the PRV woofer, but didnt really notice a difference compared to replacing the L & R dash speakers. Now I hear some buzzing coming from the center (mostly during podcasts), and I plan to open it back up and try to find the buzz...
