Well, we don't know if the Bronco modular top won't have leak issues. These seals tend to deform over time and create leaks. Jeep has the rain gutter issue when it's raining.
Hopefully, Ford has a better water channeling system that prevents water to come down on the front seat when doors...
Please ask about the engines!!
Have they redesigned any of the Bronco engine components and made any improvements over the other ecoBoost engines used in other trucks and SUVs to handle the dusty and more challenging environment ?
Do we expect to see the same problems with other ecoBoost engines?
I especially agree with lease option on a first year model (being all new design) and not knowing what recalls or issues it might have within first 3 years. Also, if they offer a different engine, a hybrid model, an option you can't add yourself or even your favorite color a couple years from...
well, that's not much different than 2 1/2 feet depth that was estimated for the 4DR. Also, as you get up higher you'll loose more space due to the seat backs leaned backward.
That might be even less room (depth wise) than my 4DR Jeep. :(
Got it. Thanks. I do have X-plan and didn't realize it. :)
As Straight6 had mentioned there isn't much savings with x-plan.
I normally buy a new vehicle at around 5-8% under invoice price, but with the Bronco being in such high demand for the first year or two, and being in WA state, the...
I found that list, but not sure if this is really an accurate listing or they're just trying to get your name and address. This is just a Ford dealership claiming the listing is for X-plan.
So, let's say my company is on the list. How do I figure out what company code to enter on Ford website...
True. When buying out of state, then tax will be based on where you reside in WA state.
So, looking at the different between MSRP and Invoice price, even with $2K below MSRP or $1300 below invoice, it comes out close to buying at MSRP right here in WA. That is if you have it shipped here...
We'll be paying an average of around $4K to $6K just for tax and licence fee with a Bronco (base model with few upgrades to Wildtrack with most options). That's a lot of money!!!
I'd rather go somewhere for a trip for the mountains. We don't get to see much of it anyway these days.
You can go to Dwayne Lane's in Burlington, which is about 50 minutes from Everett and save at least $500.
I'm still considering switching to out of state dealer like Laura Ford $2K below MSRP (Missouri) or Granger Ford $1300 under invoice (Iowa). Granger still shows $1000 under invoice on their...
They could have at least offered it on the Bronco Sport which has the flip up tailgate. I would hope that we have more advanced technology than 30 years ago to alleviate the mechanical issues the old Broncos had. I think it just comes down to saving cost of design and manufacturing.
I sure hope they offer a white top option. I think the blue, cactus gray or the cyber orange with white top look great. Plus it helps with reflecting some of the hear in the parking.
Let's hope they do, otherwise I'd have to paint it myself.
Here's a full explanation of how auto sales tax is collected in Washington state (see the link below).
Sales Tax Collection by State
To sum it all up: " ... vehicle sales taxes in Washington can range from 7.3% to 10.3% based on where the transaction is made. "
You can also look up other...

I highly doubt that they would offer any financing specials with the Bronco for at least a couple of years. I would think once the hype settles down it will eventually have rebates or financing specials.
In a couple of years the Cybertruck and a bunch of other new SUVs and trucks from...
If you buy in WA state, the tax will be based on the location you buy from not your address. If you buy from outside of WA state, then it's based on your address and local tax (at least that's how I understand). I have bought in Burlington before just because there was a lower tax rate and it...
