I had to order my own longer bolts on amazon to resolve this as well. The bolts provided were simply too short regardless of how much I tried to compress the hard top edge with the sunrider brackets

Yup, used to be color matched. My 23 came with a color matched one on the door. I removed it and added new tape and put it on the inside of my fuel door

It fits perfectly behind the fuel door

Yup, that is the one I got. The original is a bitch to get off, but since you aren't reusing it, then you can be a bit more aggressive with the removal.

Ive had my Bronco for 10 months and 9k miles so far and I still smile every time I drive it.

It will be once they announce a fix for it. They haven't released it yet

Known issue. Ford was supposed to have a fix for it last year but they pushed it back to later in 2024
