Raptor liner is really easy to do yourself. Paint was starting to go so I did my whole 4runner for under $300. Super durable stuff and easy to do. I am definitely not suggesting to to a brand new Bronco but fenders and parts that are going to get rubbed/brushed for sure.
It took 8 quarts, about $225 with the spray gun @Amazon. I didn't have an air compressor, that was $160 @ Harbor Freight, the box is in the back of the photo :) . Lastly, about $25 in sandpaper and masking paper.
So all together about $250 if you have an air compressor. Prep time is about 10...
Hey, hey hey.... Stop giving Ford any idea's. That is one of the benefits to the 2-door I am looking forward to, "Free" hardtop.
In all seriousness, If there was a cost for the 2-door hardtop that would probably be enough to shift me to the 4-door.
True, but it probably would require a setting change for the new screen. If it is an easy swap that would be sweet but I wouldn't count on it.
Make the assumption you can't to be sure you are fine with the 8inch. If it is an easy swap then it's an added bonus.
I wouldn't think it is an easy swap, at least not a cheap one. People on the edge forum were swapping to get the new snyc version which pairs with the screen.
You have to swap the screen, computer that pairs with it, and mounting hardware. It's going to be 2k minimum and might have other...
I am looking at iconic silver for this reason. Living in the West Texas Desert we always have sand blowing and in the instance you get a brush trail scratch it hides well.
I actually do not care for the idea. Jeep puts those "Trail rated" stickers on lots of models, even the Jeep Liberty got them. It doesn't mean anything is actually trail capable......
2007 4runner. The paint was terrible when we got it with some permanent water spots, clear coat was rough but still holding on until it began to fade out entirely early this year. It seems like it was left in the West Texas heat all day every day prior to our purchase.
All fixed now ?
It's black raptor liner. So matte black when clean with a slight gray tone, but it appears gray when dirty.
I get frequent questions/compliments on it. I even had somebody ask me this week at a stop light how to do it. You just need to scuff your current paint, mask, then apply with an air...
That's not really an update, of course you will see the pricing before you order....
In other news...the sky is blue. Thank you Mike for your infinite wisdom.
I was about to post the exact same thing. It feels like they are trying to draw it out then smack us with insane pricing for the packages/options.
They got all the "Hype" with the starting at $28,500 pricing, then now when they go live it is going to be crazy for any add on.
Madness, absolute madness is about to ensue.

What a change from earlier posts/tweets. It is amazing what a difference complete sentences and specific answers make.
Not liking the answers. Looking to go base 2 door and have my mind set at no more than 35k after Sasquatch or big tires and rear locker. I might have to drop the Bronco idea...maybe wait for used in a couple years.
I have a 2007 4runner rwd that is my daily driver until I get the 2dr base Bronco Sasquatch. The thing is the 4runner is a beast in reliability at 150k miles and runs like new after shock, strut, and brake change. Used it today to get tons of wood for a playground I am almost done building...
