If it is I’m sure it will probably still be much more than $700. Have to remember those who upgrade to the $700 hard top are paying that much extra even though the cost of the soft top is being subtracted from the price of the Bronco. That is the cost of upgrading, not the cost of the hard top.
Might be able to get away with that. Just get a mesh top for under the hard top. Take the whole top off and you have mesh between you and the sun but still feel open air. Cuts the sunlight, in, and even heat drastically.
To be fair there’s an incredibly unflattering filter used on the 2nd picture that makes it look lighter than it actually is. I would prefer black, but I don’t think the MIC looks as bad as most people seem to. I am happy with it for $700. I’m sure as hell not paying $1,900 for a top.
I got a mesh top for my Jeep and no more sunburns for my incredibly fair skinned wife. Taking the top and doors off are 90% of why I own a Wrangler and plan to get a Bronco so I’m just planning to get a big bend with a few options.
What are your priority options? Fully loaded badlands doesn’t...
That’s good to know. I got ticketed back in like 2008 in Missouri for not having a front plate. I was 18 at the time and there was no way I was drilling into my RX-8 bumper.
I’m also going CG. I already have my bright green covered with my 2005 Wrangler that I’m keeping. “Electric lime Green” which I actually describe as green apple. But I do think just about any green would look great on a Bronco.
I don’t know if anyone pointed this out since last night but I just checked the ford website and it lists MIC hard top as an option for 4 door big bend, so I wouldn’t sweat it.
I tried once about 7 years ago. Wasn’t great lol. About a month ago my dad (also more patient than me) started teaching my wife how to drive my manual 2 door wrangler. She is pregnant and I have no intention of putting a newborn in the bank seat of my Jeep, so if she’s going somewhere without...
I’d like to think they didn’t ask every question for every trim level. I also want a big bend with molded hard top and would be really disappointed if it wasn’t an option. I’d be shocked if that was the case though.
Also planning on roof rack (pleasantly surprised at the price), mid, towing...
I keep my top and doors off for months at a time but it’s parked in the garage. Not the least buggy garage though. I haven’t seen any bugs in it, but when it comes time to put the top and doors back on I go for a quick drive so the wind will hopefully sweep any away that happen to be inside the...
I’ll definitely wave. I have a TJ and love the wave. But I don’t get upset when people don’t wave back and I don’t feel stressed if I miss one. I’m keeping my Jeep so I’ll certainly wave at both while in both. My brain won’t be quick enough to differentiate. Hell I wave at Jeeps when I’m in my...
I live in KC area where it’s mostly red but even the blue are moderate generally. The people are fantastic here. Not far left or far right crazies for the most part.
That being said I would not live here if it wasn’t for having young children and both sets of families being here. I would much...
The more options the better. That being said I’ll never own anything but cloth unless it has heated AND cooled. The top and doors are off my Jeep 5 months a year and anything but cloth kills me. My wife’s 2018 rogue has really nice cloth seats. Cloth doesn’t mean trash like it used to.
But I...
