Ohhhh ok. I thought everyone was saying the Sasquatch package also changes the lift of the Badlands. That's good to know that it does not, and the difference in height is only from the increased tire size. So the Wildtrak being 1.4 inches taller than Badlands is just due to the tire size...
Yea, the one safety feature I love on my Chevy is how the seat vibrates if another vehicle gets too close to me, or if I cross the lanes without signaling. The seat vibrations for crossing the lane has definitely kept me safer. There's been plenty of times where on a long trip I've been futzing...
I think for me (ie those of us who only do extreme off-roading maybe once a year), it is going to come down to comparing, side by side, the Badlands non-Sasquatch, and the Badlands with the Sasquatch package.
1. How much better does the lift look on the Badlands Sasquatch vs regular Badlands...
Depends.... I might just want all those things just in case I ever need to traverse a mountain. You never know. Like I said, my main issue is determining if the mud tires are going to be somehow bothersome to me (vs 33s). That being said, I'd like to see if the added height is visually apparent...
I have a First Edition and a Wildtrak reserved. I might switch one of them to the Badlands. My issue is I will rarely take it off road (maybe once a year), so I feel like the 33s will be nicer on the road (vs the mud tire 35s). However, if the Sasquatch looks cooler because of the extra height...
If you plan on keeping your truck for more than five years, leasing never makes sense financially. If you want to throw away money because you have money to spare, and just want the convenience of a lease and getting a new truck/car in three years, then fine.
Fact is, with a lease, you never...
How does it work though if, let's say, you don't like the truck? I'm just wondering because I've only bought new off the lot before. If I order it, and it comes, and I drive it and don't like it, is it too late to back out of the deal? I kind of expect that, but I was reading some other posts...
Yea. I agree. I'm buying the car for my wife (the cactus grey and the white top). I don't really care that much about the 35s, but if the Sasquatch package makes the truck look "tougher" and "bigger," then I want the Sasquatch package. If Sasquatch raises the suspension, then that makes me want...
That's my exact question. Is the "coolness" factor of the look worth the reduction in daily drive enjoyment (ie road noise, etc.). Especially if you only take it offload a few times a year.
Can someone post a side by side picture of the Bronco with 35s and the Bronco with 33s? I mean how noticeable is the difference. I'm rarely going to go off-roading with it (maybe a couple times a year). But I do a lot of hiking, mountain driving etc., so I want the truck to look as cool as...
But here's a question. If you are only going to rarely do off-roading, are the Wildtrak tires just too much? Similar to how with the Rubicon, you can get a Sahara with the bette road tires? I reserved a Wildtrak and First Edition, and I'm just wondering if I'm going to regret the big tires...
Folks, has anyone figured out yet whether they will offer the white hard top JUST like in every single promotional video they show? I know we weren't sure a couple of months ago when I reserved both the Wildtrak and the First Edition. I'm behind on the news so did we figure out if they are...
Yes, I think Ted Britt is on that list where they waive that Dealer fee of $1500 or $1300 whatever it is. That's why I selected them the second time around for Wildtrak over Koons (I still have my existing Koons reservation for the First Edition).
Yea I have the First Edition at Koons and then the Wildtrak at Ted Britt. I ordered the Wildtrak later and chose Ted Britt because of the lack of fees. I might ditch the First Edition because I want the cactus grey with white top for the wife.
This is a tricky one. I've never leased a car because it is ALWAYS more cost effective to buy if you are willing to keep the car for 5-8 years. If you don't care about money, sure, then leasing the car is great --- you get a new car every few years.
Anyway.... I'm a little nervous with the...
