When doing alignments, it's important for the tech to have the steering wheel locked in at 0 degrees before making any adjustments underneath. This is what happens when you don't do that.
I wouldn’t risk hanging on to it without replacing the entire frame. If you plan on keeping it forever, that's fine but you may be giving up warranty and you'll definitely be giving up resale value. I would move on.
This sucks. I would be defeated and deflated if I had the assembly line pic and a name assigned to it. That's a shady ass dealership that should be exposed provided you've told us the whole story.
Kinda makes you wonder what some service managers are thinking. Does corporate need to know the vehicle is modified? Do they get something from denying a claim? Is it just a power trip? I know the profit margin is tighter on warranty claims but is that worth the cost of customer satisfaction?
Elkins is cool anytime of year. There is a lookout/fire tower not too far away that I once visited in the winter. Takes a bit of nerve getting to and from it but such an awesome place.
Honestly, I would do Heritage. There are some cool things that come on the raptor as well as performance but I just think they look hideous with the flares and 4 doors. Hope that doesn't offend anyone and if so.....grow some thicker skin.......
