the capable bumper should be more $$$ than the modular ala carte.
doesn't make sense if ford won't give you a choice of either, especially if the buyer is willing to take something costing less and pay the same.
it's expensive. even if you don't go to this 3/3.5 amount
realistically, it's gonna be pretty hard not to spend 2k for 5 tires and a set of five rims as an upgrade and get what you like. pretty sure it's gonna be a minimum of 2 for each tire and going up from there to over 3. wheel prices...
- make a website. call in something like fordrippedmeoff.com or something like that.
-write in detail your ordeal. include the names of everyone that work there for optimum seo. go to car forums post your ordeal as well.
-picket in front of said dealership with stacks of flyers that lead...
can't stay true because it was AMB.
do i really have to buy another black car? sigh
cactus grey has no green in it, that would make it special like the honda element blue omni pearl (which has no blue in it, but does have green),
carbon grey is becoming dated as black wheels. it's only...
would not be surprised to see somebody buy a white one, pinstripe it with dark blue and put a few big NY Yankee insignias on the doors and hood. writing something along the lines of official bullpen car
wow.
seems like just another vote for the base., and upgrade at a slightly higher expense
cheap, thin, disposable metal has invaded everything . take lawnmowers for example. it's hard to find a $300 solid unit that will last. most of it is plastic with cheap, thin metal nowadays...
that blows that debate that the masses don't want it., and the low one has to go.
ford will never tell you the real reason they got rid of it. but i'm sure the cost of the pigments played a role.
it took me months to arrive at and embrace AMB and now i don't really have a back up that i can...
surprised they bailed on this color. it was the choice of mine for base or bd.
it took a lil time to arrive there, but it seemed right... a nice dark blue metallic
now you prolly can't get green on the base....lol
at least the new green looks like a contender color for many
can't imagine this color getting much traction.
like somebody said earlier. in ford talk orange is yellow and red is orange.
makes sense with double talk politician's. why shouldn't it make sense with everyone else
reminds me of those colors you would see in the early 80's. you know the kind you would never pick out yourself but you were forced to drive as your older, used first car, as the color was always on a a pos car nobody wanted.
seems like people are digging deep for their preferred wheelset and tires.
cost is over 3k for four of them not including the spare, tax, or installation
the other guy from larchmont is also into his for $3500 for his BD
if i get the BD i will be looking to keep grabbers until they wear out...
this is a solid look.
15" white steel is like $300/400 for a set of four
what would be the ideal set up for 33? anyone spec it out?
sadly getting these 15" would require new tires as well. so you can't just plop them on your BD grabbers. is there any white wagon wheels that would not...
this is solid good looking change that doesn't hurt the wallet.
i'm stuck between base and black diamond. if i go base i would be doing something similar. i just don't know if i can live without the vinyl/rubber
isn't the reason people buy the badlands because they can live without squanch in lieu of all the other off road components.
like some poster said. the base squanch is a pretty good deal. even if you upgrade to metal bumpers.
you change the look and stance and upgrade tires/wheels. not to...
