Hi All,
We finally pulled the trigger and ordered our Badlands yesterday. We got to drive two OuterBanks back to back with the 2.7 and the 2.3 both with 4.7 gears and 10 speed automatic transmission. After driving the 2.7 my wife said I love it! Then she drove the 2.3 and turned to me and said...
Nice tires and wheels makes me think about just getting a BL with 4.46 gears and doing my own SAS instead of stock SAS those wheels and tires are sweet looking, where did you get the grill? nice interior lights too
LOL I went from a 2001 PSD 7.3 Dually towing a 4500lb 16' PJ dump trailer towing a 7500llb New Holland tractor in it to my used 2019 120K F150 2.7 10 speed and could't be happier. now can I be happy with a Badlands Bronco with a 2.3 & 10 speed? I guess well find out soon as we are getting ready...
We drove the 2.7 4dr BD Sas and loved it now I need to find a 2.3 to drive I took my F150 2.7 10 speed up the NY Thruway today and noticed the RPMs at 70 mph and it was 1600 RPMs gear ratio is 3:55. I imagine 4:70 would be 2500 which seems a lot to me?
yes I’m well past my mustang GT years at 63 and service connected disabled vet I just need it to get me through snow mud and daily driving about 10 miles a day if that i doe like the Sasquatch look i may rethink it all and go BD SAS 2.3 still need to drive the 2.3 tho
Yeah I’m thinking about badlands with out Sasquatch as for what we need even badlands it over kill auto is a must for wife so now it’s the engine options I will drive both and want to make the right choice as we will have it for a long time
I will probably keep it for at least 15 years my F150 replaced my 2001 F350 and this Bronco will replace my wife’s 2005 Honda odyssey. The Badlands pretty much has a lot of gadgets so that’s a risk and yes the 2.3 has less gadgets than the 2.7 that’s why I am trying to figure out if the 2.3 is...
Thanks for the info, I do have a 2.7 in my 2019 F150 I use only 87 octane in it for a year now and bought it used with 110k on it . I get 19 mpg overall but has 3.55 gears I only use synthetic oil and change it at 3500 miles I do love the engine power and sounds okay but not crazy about the...
Hi all,
I am looking for 2.3 owners input that have the Sasquatch package and 10 speed automatic. I am trying to decide on the 2.3 vs 2.7 and would like to hear what owners have to say about the power of the 2.3 using 87 octane. I am looking at a 4dr Badlands and wonder how the 2.3 performs as a...
Wow yeah I guess I’m getting closer in price to a Raptor but that is over kill for what we need. Come to think of it probably the Badlands is too. I’m 63 and a disabled veteran and my wife is 53 and it’s her daily driver, which is a 6 mile round trip to work every day and a 200 mile weekend trip...
I do like the manual transmission but it will be my wife daily driver so 2.7 auto it is. definitely BL with possibly Sasquatch package , definitely Lux package, power seats, black appearance package. Exterior color shadow black tow hitch I want the modular bumper but don’t want to lose the fog...
Yeah I wanted a 3.73 with my F150 but bought a used 2019 with 100k on it has 3.55 and the 2.7 it’s not a heavy hauler but it’s fast as a bullet. Got a 2012 F350 for hauling heavy loads I think I’ll end up getting a 2.7 auto badlands
