I did them, then put it back to stock. I found a few issues.
1. They look terrible with the stock bumpers.
2. You will eat mud with the windows down.
3. Increased road and wind noise.
All that said, I will put them back on as soon as I get my new bumpers. They do look badass with bumpers...
What you feel is in the tune from Ford. There is no turbo lag in a gen2 2.7L as the exhaust manifolds are part of the heads. There might be some loss "downstream" but there is no lag. I suspect Ford has the wastegates set to dump boost in low gears to make the engine more linear feeling...
I put the 4Wheel Parts fender deletes on today. Simple installation, took a little over an hour. I will need to do something with the rear bumper, otherwise I dig it.
