This is a new, fully functioning factory top off my 2.5 week old Bronco. I replaced it with a Bestop. It comes with all the hardware, fasteners and straps need to install it on your Bronco hard top. I'll throw in the IAG easy lift kit with their updated bracket. This kit is unopened, new in...
I installed my Trektop Thursday evening. The 1.5 hours to install was optimistic to say the least. The top looks fantastic and there is no flapping or noise from the rear like I get with the factory soft top, but there is a problem.
Above 40 MPH it sounds like a jet engine is blasting...
New take off (200 miles) Ford rock sliders with all the brackets and fasteners. $100 local pick up only, from Leander, Texas. I have them boxed up for easy pick up.
I have a Trek Top on the way to replace the Ford soft top. To me it’s just a smarter design vs the Ford. Plus it looks better to my eye.
A hard top purchase will be next if Ford decides to build and sell the mod top.
Thank you for the review. I’m looking forward to getting mine - ordered them about 10 weeks ago. My only concern about the RSE design is the narrow step. My wife has some physical limitations and the narrow step may be a challenge for her.
I took delivery of my Carbonized Gray Badlands this evening. The $2500 below MSRP was honored and the transaction took about an hour.
The truck was all over the road on the way home. As suspected, the tires were 45-48PSI all the way around. A quick adjustment and another ride revealed the...
Are the fenders aluminum? If they are, that may explain the spacer.
I just looked it up - they are aluminum. The spacer may be there to prevent corrosion. My guess is it is rubber or plastic.
I negotiated and locked in my price before the order was submitted. Hopefully you have dealership that is willing to negotiate after the order was placed.
Day 19 Railcar - Texas
TTGX990927 arrived in Kirby, Texas at the automotive ramp. With some luck, the trucks will be unloaded today and make their way to their owners sometime this week.
Day 18 Railcar - Texas
Well the railcar I've been tracking for more than 2 weeks has disappeared. No one knows where it is or if it arrived in San Antonio or Houston. :ROFLMAO: Par for the course for this entire experience, I guess. I'm sure it will show up eventually, somewhere, sometime...
Day 17 Texas Bound Railcar
The last update came in last night at 7PM - departed Giddings, Texas.
22 hours later - no new status. Maybe it arrived in San Antonio, or Houston. I'll check in again later this evening.
Day 16 Texas Bound Railcar
TTGX990927 Hearne, TX intermediate arrival 9:14PM. It's Sunday, so my guess is it will not resume the journey to the Houston auto ramp until Monday.
Day 15 Texas Bound Railcar
TTGX990927 is finally on the move again, but the tour of AR continues. As of 3:50AM, March 19, the railcar (flat car) departed McNeil, AR. That's 130 miles in the past 24 hours. It's too soon to tell if it will go south to Shreveport or west to Texarkana. My...
Day 14 Texas Bound Railcar
My railcar is sitting in the Pine Bluff, AR rail yard. No movement in the past 30 hours.
Found this thread on the MachE website that may be interesting to those wanting to know more about how our rail system works. Why rail transport takes so long | MachEforum - Ford...
Day 13 Texas Bound Railcar
The railcar sat in the Little Rock railyard most of the morning yesterday. In the afternoon it departed and made it to Van Buren, right outside of Ft. Smith, AR. So I assumed it was going into OK and then down through Dallas.
This morning as of 6:45AM it arrived in...
This is day 12 for my Texas bound railcar. There was a fairly long layover in Chicago, but it appears things are moving a little faster now. The railcar arrived in Little Rock, AR last night. My guess is it will arrive in Houston tomorrow sometime for dispatch to Georgetown, TX. Right now...
