I have to give kudos to Ford for learning from the Bronco ordering inequities.
I was the first order for the Lightning at my dealer. It appears that each qualified dealer got to order one for the most part in the first wave. I assume this was to test the system and work out the kinks.
Once I...
When the snow is deep, some times it will build up under the vehicle and actually high center you.
When I go to our camp, I take it slow in 4H with no locker on. If I feel a lot of resistance I stop and decide out the next step.
I figure if you can't get through with 4H, you can usually get...
I would not "confront" the dealer. Could be that is not your Bronco.
When they open, stroll down there, verify that is your Bronco and ask them how long it will take to get prepped.
Have fun.
Since you are an attorney, it seems to me you could bring this to a head real quick by seeking a TRO on Monday morning, based on the scarcity of the Bronco and the dealer said they will only hold it for a day. That will give you a good idea where you stand legally.
When I was driving with children in my Jeep, I would take just the front two doors off, and leave the back two doors on. Did not want to take a chance with no doors or tube doors, and they have just as much fun.
I had a 2020 gladiator Rubicon (JTR). I took my dealer's demos for an extended test drive. A two door Wildtrack and a four door BB with a soft top.
IMO the Broncos drove a lot smoother than the JTR, which is expected with the IFS. Both the JT and the Bronco are great vehicles, and each have...
I don't have my Bronco yet, but when I take my Jeep doors off, a drywall carrier comes in very handy. I put a piece of pipe insulation on the carrier so there is no chance of scratching anything.
I took my dealer's BB, with the same equipment that you are considering, for a 24 hour test drive. Not a lot of gingerbread, but a lot of vehicle for the money IMO.
Sounds like a BB suits your needs.
Had a sticker of $38k plus. If it had a rear locker, I would have bought it.
I drove both and thought the soft top was quieter than the hard top. The hardtop was a WT and the soft top was a BB. The hard top did not have sound deadening and I assume that would help and make it quieter than the soft top.
I see R21's post and he has a different opinion, but I assume the...
Looks like the dealers are getting a lot of stripped down Big Bends. Took the same equipped BB for a 24 hr. test drive. Good bang for the buck, but I need a hitch and at least a rear locker.
OP, looks like you live in OH. I am wondering how the soft top will perform during/after snow events when you have to access the cargo area. Looks like the top is pushed forward. Seems like snow would fall in the cargo area if there is any on the top or sides.
Anyway, after having seven soft...
