Bought the car from carmax with 41k miles on it. The service history I saw was showing oil changes every 10k-11k miles. Not good. Eventhough carmax changed the oil and filter....it was full, I did change oil and filter with Valvoline R&P within days of co.ing home. 6qts! Went to change...

That's reassuring. I also has a few very small specs of metal in the media. Some ferous as I ran a strong magnet accross it and picked them up.

Yesterday, I briefly cut opened the filter and saw small metal pieces on the media. Will layout today and see if magnet pics up anything. I hear that if flakes remain, that is a lot better than if the flakes are picked up.

Appreciate the feedback. Agree that dipstick is tough to read.

Thanks for the feedback! I watched a couple YouTube videos and gently wiping the product when wet is the way to go. I have used Cerakote on my waverunner plastic in the past, did not wipe it and did leave white streaks.

Greetings! Just bought a used 2022 Big Bend and want to perform a exterior detail. What dressing, restorer etc do you use on the hard top? I like Ceracote on fenders and bumpers, but not sure for the roof. Thank you!!
