From what I understand and I’m sure some people with more knowledge will chime in, but you’ll run higher RPMs at higher speeds. It sounds like if you’re going with 10 speed it may not be that big of a deal. Again, I am far from an expert, but gearing matching tire size is all about keeping the...
That’s what I was referring to. I’m not convinced it’s a problem either. I think the “problem” stems from too much time waiting to order (overthinking) and not a ton of information from Ford on this particular issue. At least that’s what it’s doing to me. I’m an engineer and in the military so I...
It seems like that might be too high of a gear for that tire, but like I said I’m far from an expert and am willing to listen. I do know that eventually I want 35s and getting it from the factory seems like the simplest and most cost effective way to do that. Plus it’s all ready been approved by...
My assumption is the the lift would add some of the articulation back. I will admit that I am far from an expert and will absolutely admit if I’m wrong. Hopefully some of you can set me straight. I’m also not convinced I’ll miss any of the lost articulation anyway.
I know. I just don’t want to run the 33s and 4.70s together. It seems easier and more cost effective to me to just do a small lift later, if I need it than re-fear and add wheels/tires.
I have been back and forth on this and at this point am leaning toward getting the Sasquatch package on my BL. I know that I’ll eventually want 35s anyway which means I’ll need the 4.70 gears. It’s significantly cheaper to get them from the factory than do it later. I don’t want to run 33s with...
I agree. With the popularity of Badlands here with a lot of day 1/2 reservations I think your analysis is spot on. And Ford is REALLY going to want as many BLs on the street as fast as they can.
I had the exact same thought about the BL. It seems to be the flagship Jeep killer and they’ll want to get as many out as fast as they can for exposure. I think BB or Base is most likely delayed.
I had the exact same thought. While I wasn’t planning on a manual anyway it really seems like Ford is doing everything they can to incentivize the auto vs manual.
I’ll apologize in advance if this question has been answered already or if it’s a dumb question , but I’ll ask anyway. Assume you are getting invoice pricing from your dealer. Does the invoice pricing apply to options/packages you select? For instance if you select the Sasquatch package at $5k...

FWIW. I did my first switch today and asked about a second switch while I was on the phone. I got told that they are waiting on “clarification from management “ but she was confident that once B+P was up you could switch up to 31 JAN.
Not trying to start anything, it is well documented that multiple dealers are offering $1k below invoice to reservation holders. The deals are out there to be found.
