some may disagree, but I use Pittsburg from harbor Freight. I think the 6 ton ones are big enough?
ācheap Chinese stuff will kill you, I only buy US madeā
to each their own. Been using this stuff for 8 years, havenāt died yet.
Large Jack stands
A good jack (check max lift height to get tires off the ground)
Socket/wrench sets
Nitrile gloves/work gloves
Oil change stuff (pan, filter clamp, funnel, towels, jug for recycle transport)
Creeper
Magnetic/hook LED work lights
Telescoping magnet to pick up dropped items
I am most impressed by the amount of rear suspension travel. When the bilsteins go out (hopefully later than sooner) there should be plenty of aftermarket that allows nearly the same amount (fox, king, icon, etc.).
Yeah it would be a waste. I have come to realize that 6 switches is plenty for me personally. I plan on:
1: bumper light bar
2: not sure
3/4: pod lights (installed)
5: radio
6: fridge (maybe?)
I have the steel bumper on my base with aux so I get that one wire to the front. I donāt think Ford provided wiring for fogs so youāll either have to direct link with headlights or run a wire yourself to a switch which wonāt be hard at all
Sorry about the bad news, I hope it gets corrected.
I dealt with schomp in the past when I used to live in Denver, nothing but bad things to say.
for What itās worth, Phil Long was great to work with.
I did my first oil change yesterday! Skid plate was easy to remove, and for torque on the filter and bolt, I just went by feel.
oil drain was about as tight as it could get while laying down, and the filter came off easy by hand so I just hand turned the new one on.
Ill let you all know if it...
