Did you do RPG collars or the RC SAS lift people say work? I have my wheels already (17x9 +0), but opted to just toss the factory 35's back on until I can decide how to lift it. I really don't want to add preload with the collars, but I am getting impatient waiting for someone, anyone to...
"Not that wheel width doesn't matter"
I never suggested it didn't, but in terms of a 8.5 vs a 9.0, which is what he was referring too, multiple factions, including RPG themselves said both the 8.5 and 9.0 will fit without rubbing on 35's or 37's provided both are at 0 offset with appropriate...
The overall offset is more important than the wheel width. Not that wheel width doesn't matter, as long as you are netting around 0 offset total with either 8.5 or 9, the general concensus is there shouldn't be any rubbing with appropriate sized lift related to what tire size you choose.
Right now all I have are the wheels. Waiting to see if anyone else comes out with a better option besides the perch collars. 100% going 37's, just not sure what the left will be yet. Gonna 2ait another few months to see what comes, then make a decision
Out of curiosity, why did you stay @ 8.5 width if you swapped to wheels with 0 offset? Or are you still running factory and added spacers to bring you out?
Not that it matters, was just curious. I bumped to 17x9 @ 0 based on what RPG recommended, as well as multiple other posts.
If I was staying 35's, prob would've done -12,
I got the new wheels rather than doing spacers. Since I like you couldn't find a solid answer, I just said screw it
Is the rockjock relo bracket a must have? As much digging as I have done, this is the first time I've ever heard someone mention it.
I noticed on their site they also have an adjustable panhard which seems much less expensive than the others out there
Sweet, exactly what I needed to know, ty.
And PS: Not worried about the spacer police. Half of them have no conception that the bearing load is equal with offset, not how you get to said offset. A true 0 offset wheel provides as much additional load as a spacer that gets you to 0. That being...
Hello folks. Sorry if its been asked, but hunting through threads trying to find this specific question is becoming a bit tedious.
With a 1.25" spacer and factory SAS wheels in mind, do the wheel studs need to be trimmed to clear the back of the wheel? I know there is no issues on 1.5", but Im...
