  1. Fuel/Gas Tank Skid Plate Removal — WARNING: whole gas tank dropped!

That’s the way it is on the 80s-90s broncos also. Pretty common. Would be easier to clean with straps. But I also think it’s easier to remove tanks with no straps. Ratchet strap a floor jack to the bottom of the skid and/or tank. Then you can slowly lower and move it once it’s unhooked.
  2. Need rock sliders suggestions

I ended up with lod signature sliders. Wanted something that will hold up.
  3. Hefty Fabworks Ultimate Bumper!

It seems to tuck a little tighter which is nice. Was just dragging the skid plate offroad 2 days ago. Should have room in there though.
  4. Hefty Fabworks Ultimate Bumper!

Not much of an issue. Just had to reroute the harness to make more slack in it. Did the same with the parking sensor part of the harness.
  5. Hefty Fabworks Ultimate Bumper!

They replied a couple pictures to me on Facebook of the rear bumper but I haven’t seen any other details yet.
  6. LOD OFFROAD! Destroyer Tire Carrier

Does it have spots for parking sensors? Didn’t see anything on the website or pictures.
  7. Murph56789

    Leonardtown Ford Reservation Holders

Mine took longer than that. Was averaging about 15 mpg and went up to 18.5 right after I hit 12,000 miles.
  8. AR | THE D Modular Base Plate Accessory Mount

It’s a tackform wireless charging mount. Came with the arm and ball also.
  9. American made rock slider recommendations

I did them myself but I’ve done a lot of custom work on trucks and broncos over the years. Install with stock holes is easy. It’s the extra holes that need drilled that take longer. Need a small right angle drill for a few of the holes. Did it all in my driveway spread out here and there over a...
  10. American made rock slider recommendations

Lod offroad signature series sliders. Very strong, frame mounted sliders. I’ve dropped the whole weight of the side of the bronco onto them with nothing but small scrapes.
  11. Adding plates to Badlands

Yes, they only bolt to the control arms themselves. Don’t interfere with anything and makes a smooth surface to slide over rocks.
  12. Adding plates to Badlands

The control arm skid plates are also from jcr. Muffler skid plate is from asfir 4x4. Actually scraped the muffler skid plate a couple times this weekend for the first time.
  13. Hefty Fabworks Ultimate Bumper!

Not even done with the install yet but just wanted to say this bumper is awesome. Top notch quality, I believe you get what you pay for. Parking sensors and cruise still work normal. Still need to relocate the camera, mount the winch and fog lights. There was a little figuring out on the acc...
  14. Adding plates to Badlands

The shock skid plates are essential imo. One of mine from jcr is actually caved in already (rather that than the shock). I also added control arm skid plates and a muffler skid plate. For mild wheeling the stock badlands ones are fine, just add the shock skids and maybe better rock sliders...
  15. Broncos take on Rausche Creek

The 2 broncos on 37’s did crawl daddy (a red trail) while the other 2 of us did a blue trail. We split from the main group for part of the day. Here are pics of the 2 guys on 37’s. And myself.. My pics look like garbage compared to toms. Just wanted to add that there was some hard trail riding...
  16. Rock Slide Engineering (RSE) Rail Reliability

I had many issues with mine. Was onto circuit board number 6 on the passenger side. Tried replacing the whole harness and whole step multiple times too. They were not abused and didn’t get wet. The motor isn’t really that fast to replace because the whole step must come off. Got old after doing...
  17. AR | THE D Modular Base Plate Accessory Mount

Still waiting on the balls to mount the microphones but getting there.. handle is awesome.
  18. Hefty Fabworks Ultimate Bumper!

That has to be the best looking bumper on the market, and functional. I remember hefty back from the days on FSB. Only thing is I wish a full grill guard was an option. We have a lot of deer around here.
  19. Ford rock rails vs. Rock Sliders

It’s still just sheet metal on the body. I even saw frame mounted sliders bend up into the rocker after enough time on large rocks (80s bronco). The stock sliders will be fine for most people but watch over time as people that do serious rock crawling will fatigue the mounts and bend it into the...
