The only problem with the floor tiles, for me, is I wanted to cover the seatbacks, and the seam in the middle is probably wide enough to let them come apart if anything pushed in the interlocked seam. For the cargo floor, they would work fine.
As I said, the mats are made from recycled rubber, so they have ground up old tires and glued the pieces together with urethane and probably some solvents (think toluene, acetone, other mineral spirits). While these are not exactly the breath of life, they go away in a few weeks if you can air...
Had quite a bit that came off getting it home and moving it around the garage a couple of times. Did not see any during the cutting or coming off in the Bronco. I am watching for them, but I don't think they will be a huge problem for me.
Hey, I previously spent a lot of time on XTerra forums, and for better or worse, they have a reputation (earned) for finding low cost mods. One I have on my XTerra is a cheap cargo mat, made from horse stall mat from Tractor Supply Co.
Now, for the logic. I looked at the Ford cargo mat, and...
Not in a Bronco, and not Coverking, but I have had neoprene Wet Okole seat covers in our XTerra for 10 years now, and for most of that time, we have had a 80+ lb dog who rode back there. There has been no damage from the nails, but in my experience, dog hair is pretty hard to remove from the...
Got my base, 2.3L, 2 door, auto, Rapid Red Sasquatch with modular bumper, safari bar and auxiliary switches a couple of weeks ago. Been enjoying it for a few hundred miles so far.
I agree, but everyone else's loss is my gain:p, I got mine in a 1 year color, in an unusual combination. The last time I looked at the "what did 6G'ers order" thread, I was one of one for my combination of color, trim, options, etc...
Had mine for about a week and a half now. 2-Door base with Sasquatch, modular bumper, and safari bar on the bumper. It is still completely stock, but off to the tint shop this week to do the windows and some PPF on the front and rockers.
Love the color, drives great (even in the rain). Got...
Mine had 31 when I picked it up, had a note in it about it being selected for a test drive at the factory. It indicated that there were 18 miles after the test drive.
I got a rental, it is a fair drive out there, i would expect quite a bill from Uber/Lyft. Plus the cell service at the Off-Roadeo is pretty thin, so getting one up there might be a bit of a challenge. The drive out was not bad at all, but about 30-40 minutes. Be aware, if you are staying at the...
If it helps, I had an initial build date the week of 23 August, then the MIC hold announcement happened. Then I got a 7 October date, which was verified on the window sticker, and happened. Took delivery today, so there is some cause to hope on the more recent projections, even if I wouldn't...
Mine was estimated for delivery 6 to 12 days after build. Arrived at the dealer in 4, have not recieved an email that says shipped, and the convoy tracker still said pending after arrival. Will get it in my hands tomorrow.
Not sure about the update rate on those trackers.
a) I use one of the 56" HF US General tool boxes myself, with the add on drawers and side cabinet, and I think they are pretty great for home use. They also sell a 72" version that is pretty much the 56" plus the 16" drawers. I built a "wood" top with plywood and some laminate flooring for a...
Went on the 15th. A couple of attendees left before dinner to eat downtown with their spouses. The Bronco material is done at 5, the remainder was dinner, campfire, s'mores, etc. Whole experience was excellent, will likely drop some pics and vids after I get around to messing with them to get...
All of the Aux switch connectors are in that same area. There are pre-run circuits that start in that area that go to the front bumper and to the cowl/interior behind the glovebox, where a couple of other pre-run circuits start that go to the top of the windshield and the rear of the vehicle...
The truly amazing part is how comprehensively wrong he was on some things. The Pathfinder stuck out to me, but the year of introduction was wrong, the engine was wrong, and "snowy roads" does not equal off-road awesomeness. Don't get me wrong, none of these are necessarily terrible vehicles in...
