Just had a thought - is it best not to disconnect the sta-bar in some circumstances? For example, when I put a wheel on a high part of an obstacle, I can lift the body to gain clearance over other parts of that obstacle. But, if I have less flex, I raise the body less.
Thoughts?
Hanging with the Jeeps at an off-road course - instructor made this after. If OffRoadeo is all about the experience and learning to know what you and your rig "can" do - this group is about teaching you "how." Looking forward to future classes. If you're in Central/East/Northeast Texas...
I only needed one, but they're only $8 for 6 so I'll hand them out when I see Broncos.

I'm thinking of a removable winch mount - was considering a rear hitch mount and just carry a winch with me when off-road.
Has anyone seen a mount for a receiver tube on the front bumper that doesn't look terrible?
Has anyone found a reasonably priced and small torque socket adapter that fits nicely in the Bronco tool bag for torquing the doors and top? Not super critical but getting close would be nice. My door bolts keep backing off - I'm afraid to over-tighten, but clearly not getting them tight enough.
There are many wonderful videos on YouTube for offroad rock crawling and so forth. But I don’t see much for more casual challenges in parts of the country with undeveloped land. Creeks and trails and mud crossings and lots of irregular rocks instead of ledges and nice big obstacles. That sort of...
I attended Offroadeo this weekend and one of the instructors was a former Ford senior tech -- I told him my FORSCAN mod to disable A/sS for my 2023 Badlands Lux wasn't "working." And he said Ford seems to have done something different for the 2023s which seems to have broken it. I assume that...
Has anyone seen anything to make rear headrests more comfortable? They don't seem to be adjustable and aren't comfortable for long trips. Maybe a roll cushion just below the headrest for the neck area?
Passenger door gap between front and rear doors is either smaller than driver's side or the angles are slightly different - back door rubs slightly against front door when opened and closed. Prevents using door edge trim.
Has anyone else seen this?
My roof rack was factory installed so I have no instructions/schematics. I didn't pay that close attention to the bolts when I first removed it and now I realize there are 2 shorter ones with washers. If it was 4 of them, I would think they secure the rear crossbar but there are only 2. Could...
Has anyone seen any clever solutions for adding storage at the D-Pillars? Those bolt holes seem like an obvious place to secure/nest some sort of storage box.
I've been looking at all of the hoist systems on here and considering buying the smallest electric winch I could and I just really don't understand why no one has designed a good, easy to install, lightweight balanced hoist system. It's less than 100 pounds and there are pullies with clutch...
I'm thinking of making my own "2-seat" Bimini sunshade and before I measure and sketch out the profile of where all the mounting points and such are, I thought I'd see if anyone had such a thing.
I wasn't sure where to post this - I see all sorts of hammocks and front half sunshades for Jeeps but only one type for Bronco and it seems to require windows to remain down (velcro strap). Has anyone seen any with hooks or such? You'd think there'd be something stretchy nylon or something you...
Tried that mod (2023 Badlands) and it screwed up my map text - instead of values for addresses and so forth it used what appeared to be variable names in the software for those values instead of the values themselves. Reverted back.
It also didn't affect the car-play limitations (notably the...
I have a 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands and my entry seems to have succeeded but the feature is still operational. The display does show a greyed out A with the slash through it as though it is disabled, but when I come to a stop it still shuts off.
Any thoughts? Here is my entry...
