Want to know about all the cool new cars coming out for 2021? Well, you'll see the Bronco first!
Just got my copy in the mail. It gets 4 pages of content on the inside. I haven't noticed anything we don't already know in it.
My post go lost in Chinese thread. So, I thought we could discuss the British nature of our future transmission.
Did a little digging. MAGNA bought Getrag in 2018. Ford and Getrag have a previous joint venture with 4 production facilities.
The plant in Liverpool, England has a capacity of 481k...
I know we’ve all noticed the increasing vagueness on production dates for the Bronco. However, some of the current language really leaves them open for further delays.
Some of the language that caught my eye was:
Odd they target June, but can’t guarantee it.
Configuration: late December at...
I’ve notice that on most Bronco models, Ford has an “Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start“ option ( usually in Mid package). I looked into it further and it’s something that is standard on most modern cars (odd it’s an option). It allows you to keep the key fob in your pocket to open and...
Not to start a chair throwing thread, but Ford has had a long history of sporadic paint issues. Some of it self inflicted (being cheap) and some of it for being cutting edge (plastic parts). However, I’m willing to forgive the past if they can do it right in the present and future.
If you...
Of all the info we’ve gotten, the only part that doesn’t make sense are the reveal Broncos. It’s becoming increasingly clear that some of the details on them aren’t meant for production (MY21 at least). So it begs the question. Were these meant for an auto show reveal that never happened because...
With the latest photos and in-person info (from the Bronco6G Q&A), I think we can get a clearer idea of the 2DR's rear cargo area.
@atonge40 said in the ride event Q&A:
Later on he stated that it could be on the smaller side of that on depth, but it's something to work with.
Next up. Ford...
Mocked up a concept for a Bronco Trail Truck. The idea is it that it's a sport utility truck meant for the trails and trips to Home Depot. Need a real truck? Buy a Ranger.
Specs:
Mansquach is standard
2.7L is standard
Base trim only, with 5 pages of options
Rear door swings open or go down...
NOTE: This is now a merged thread. I did not make this poll. ?
So, after GM blew it with the new Blazer, there were rumors of a reborn GMC Jimmy as a Wrangler fighter built off of the Colorado chassis. That news sort of disappeared and then GM teased the return of HUMMER as a GMC...
With the info from the thread:
2021 Bronco delivery now "targeted to begin June 2021" and possibly into 2022
Should Ford just go ahead and call the new Bronco a 2022?
I find it odd that Ford would not offer the cooled seatIng technology from the Mustang on the Bronco. It would really help the livability for those of us in warmer climates. Sure, we can make due with laying towels over our seats, but cooled seats would be an amazing feature on the Bronco. I...
It seems that Ford is previewing three options for the Sport Bar (roll bar). Not sure if this is just a universal option to pick from or if they will be tied to packages (hope not).
1. A body colored option.
2. A satin black option.
3. A satin (or gloss) white option.
Not trying to be mean, but the amount of newbs who show up and start a new thread to ask a well answered question or complain is getting to be a problem. Does the forum software allow you to limit the ability to start a new thread until after a post or two? Just throwing it out there.
Doors off has been cool ever since Jeep didn’t have any to take off. However, a modern problem has crept in to take away from the beauty of door free driving. The sticker!
While never appearing in press photos...
Real like is somewhat different. An array of stickers cover the back of the door...
Looking at the pictures, I noticed that it looks like the front sections of the hardtop for the 2DR and 4DR are the same size. You can see from the pics below that the 4DR top goes to the front edge of the back door, while the 2DR goes to the back edge of the (front) door. This would be great...
Cool article over at Car and Driver.
Our Ford Bronco Badge Is Better Than the Rest of the World's
Thanks to laxer pedestrian impact rules, U.S. Broncos get a wilder badge than international versions.
Ours is bigger, or at least it sticks out a few millimeters farther.
