I saw it in the Disney Springs Lego Store a couple of weeks ago, and bought the Nigel Mansell Williams Renault set instead. That kit produces a much more authentic model. Might still get the Bronco kit someday later, though.
I installed the Steeda spring last night. This thread was a big help, but in no way was this an easy or quick process. Some caveats:
I used a regular pair of needle nose pliers to remove the C clip. But I heeded the warnings in other threads and comments to cover the area behind and around the...
Another option -- apply the Retro stripe kit from Ford and leave the trim level decal in place. The Bronco script is part of the stripe, and it looks fine with the trim level decals. The stripes look great with Velocity Blue, too.
Our local dealer has had one on the lot for a couple of months. I chatted with the salesman I ordered my Bronco from, and he said there have been two shoppers in that time. If anyone wants a Stroppe today, no order required, they're out there.
We drove out to Vegas in our Bronco between Christmas and New Years, but there were no Off Roadeo events then. We took the Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire roads, though. Beautiful country outside of the city. I would gladly go back for Off Roadeo there and more burgers at the Pioneer Saloon.
The original hitch light was the very first mod part I bought when I ordered my Bronco a year ago. Unfortunately, I only just now had the hitch installed at my dealer this week because my Bronco was delivered without it due to “hitch shortages” at the time. 😂 Everything fit perfectly in the...
Thanks, that turned out to be the source. The plastic trim on the inside of the rear window that covers the rear wiper motor does not fit tightly enough. Taping the seam stopped the rattle.
Bump. I've been chasing a very loud buzz/rattle that sounds like it's coming from the right rear cargo area, but haven't found it yet. Here's what it isn't:
Black plastic trim pieces on the tailgate covering wiring access. Removed them one at a time to test.
Seatbelts. Taped them down to...
Installed the Visco retro stripes on my EG 2 door this past weekend. (Details at https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/visco-stripe-kits-install-pics.58301/)
I've had 3 Miatas over the years, so I'm used to waving at other Miata owners. NA owners (the original Miata model with popup headlights) often waved by flipping the headlights up and down. Jeep owners don't "own" waving. If you feel like being friendly to other Bronco owners, then go ahead and...
Bumping this old thread because it relates specifically to the Visco retro stripe kit on the Ford Accessories site. (Should be easier for someone else thinking about this specific kit to search for.)
My weekend project was installing the stripes from this kit. I was open to also installing the...
