You bring up a very good point here - the modification center. You here a lot about build scheduling, chip holds, etc., but we never hear if the modification center is able to keep up, is way behind, or anything, concerning it ?
I think that is exactly what they mean by "In Production" - that the order has been sent to the plant. I have decided that the more important date is the "Blend Date" - the day on which the body is mated to the chassis. I think that is more in line with what many would think of as "In...
Bummer ! But they are making 2023's now.............. so "someone" will be getting an Azure Gray Bronco before long ! Hopefully they will post a lot of pics !
Watching the 2023 Spreadsheet on this forum, so far the order rate on the Azure Gray is only about 3-1/2%.
I believe that I read somewhere that certain options, such as striping, are "added" in a facility close to the plant. If this is a fact, what might those options be?
Thank you. Excellent explanation. And I can see how the "tinted" clear coat would "tone down" the metallic. I think these pics depict how the metallic gets "muffled" under the tinted clearcoat
I haven't seen the azure blue in person, but my guess, since they are both tricoat colors, is that it will be like the cyber orange tricoat - if you look at a cyber orange up close in the sun, you will see there is quite a bit of metallic deep in the paint........... it just doesn't "come to the...
I think, perhaps, an advantage of ordering from Bestop instead of Ford is that, if there is a problem with the top you get, the odds are you would get much more attention and satisfaction from Bestop than Ford. With Ford, you are ONE, TINY fish in a LARGE ocean (and it seems like they act like it?)
It's very confusing............ you watch Mr Farley talk about improving quality and cutting back warranty work and recalls........... but you continue to see one "issue" after another on this forum. It kinda makes one wonder if he REALLY cares about quality ? Jim, DO YOU !? Would YOU be...
I, too, am anxious to see the metallic content. My guess is that it will be like the other 3-stage color - orange - where you have to get it in plenty of light to see the metallic, and then you can see there is quite a bit of metallic in it. I don't know if the metallic color goes on in the...
Ford was "guessing", due to the backlog of orders, February 2023. But it depends on how many orders sitting in "99" don't get converted to "10"........... so it could very well be January 2023 (or even a little sooner)
I believe I have seen some people on the Forum asking when the order banks for 2023 Broncos would be open. If I understood correctly, Long-McArthur (@FordVideoGuy) said on their Tuesday podcast that they were told on the November 1 that ordering for the 2023 Bronco would probably not be open...
