8.4 is fine for me. All Subaru standard lifted vehicles are 8.7 inches. I won't worry about .3 inches. I'm coming to Ford after buying 4 Subarus in 3 years. First off road worthy Ford for me, after off road worthy Audi, BMW, GMC and Chevy in my garage.
