A blanket slipped into my rear tailgate latch and broke the plastic latching mechanism. I am removing the latch assembly and have only the rear mounting clip to go. Anybody been into this already or have the procedure? I don’t want to break a clip so close to being back on the road.

We have one more coming up this fall, October-November. And a winter one once there is some good snow…. :)

My schedule lightens up after the first week of a June, so it won’t be long before I can hit the trail (in the driver’s seat) again.

I swapped with someone with an anti-matter blue. Gloss looks way better on those dark colors. The mirror covers are quick and easy as well.

It is definitely a labor of love with these prices. My brother would build a couple more, but these cheaper, thinner, pressed-plate bumpers are hard to compete with. I just didn’t want to see myself coming and going all the time!

I can lift it myself. That was the end of the goal. :). It is mostly 1/4”. I do lots of vehicle recoveries, so the recovery points have to be up to snuff, plus I am going to have flat-tow capability.

I I just cut down the factory. I have rock rails, rear bumper and roof rack to fab before I start figuring out skid plates.

I installed these highway-legal driving lights into my custom bumper and tested them out tonight. This is with the low-beams on, but they show up nicely with the high-beams as well.
