Morning Y'all,
Currently I work in a position that is heavily involved with the sourcing of millions of pounds of aluminum.
word on the street is, as of this morning, there is a mass shortage of Aluminum Billet and that OEM's have been calling the mills directly in order to game plan.
Now -...
Being from Michigan my knowledge of Yellowstone is practically zero - however, its a place I have always wanted to visit and camp at.
Is there any off-roading to be had there?
So if ford has said (which they have, many times) that no dealer stock will be built for the first year - ONLY reservation stock... then I am struggling to see the issue here.
Why would dealers not receive a bronco for each and every order they convert? ESPECIALLY if the demand is so...
Apologies if this has been discussed at length.
We know the size difference, we have a general idea on weight difference etc...
do we know which set of tires will handle better in the snow?
I know neither will be better than a true Winter tire, but I'd like to not throw another $1500...
An earlier thread questioning why anyone would want the 2021MY got me thinking...
As most with professional experience in the auto industry know, first model year vehicles statistically do have more issues than their second third and fourth year counterparts.
This comes from a number of...
My good friend is DEAD SET on getting a $50k bronco. He has never been off road and never road in a newhighway speeds.
This guy loves luxury, luxury furniture, lux speakers, lux food...etc
I have a real feeling that he is going to be shocked at the rough ride (even without a SFA it’s no sedan)...
Alright yall - looking for opinions or educated assumptions here.
In my early college days I owned a 99 Wrangler that was running 33" mud tires. Having a 33" tire on the back over a long period of time caused the rear gate to sag slightly under load. It got to the point that when going to...
89x was my childhood and now she is being laid down to rest at noon today.
I would be lying if I said I still listened regularly - but I absolutely would have played her on the Bronco when I tired of my spotify mix.
30 years. Sad.
I come bearing more gifts.
additionally I had the pleasure of sitting in the 4dr today. Quite roomy for the driver. Back seats are as cramped as they are on the Wrangler. Interior quality is what you’d expect, good amount of plastics, nothing really soft touch. It’s nice though for what it is.
Good morning Y'all.
My internal debate between a 2 door or 4 door is still raging and I can't seem to pick one.
A thought that recently crossed my mind is the difference in overall weight between the two options.
Just how much lighter do you think the 2 door will be? With wranglers it...
4dr Sasquatch Wild Track spotted at Ford research development center.
I again bring you high resolution photos for your enjoyment
2018 Toyota 4Runner for comparison on 31” AT’s
**I have added some terrible quality interior photos. My main takeaway is that sandstone looks like dog shit with...
Just wanted to report that I switched over from a Michigan Dealer.
Difference has already been night and day.
Stephens sent me a confirmation email no more than 3 mins after I switched via Ford customer service.
this wasn't some garbage spam email that dealers send anytime you contact them -...
I saw some confusion surrounding disc brakes on the lower model Broncos. Apparently the order guide alluded to the 2.3 L engine not having rear disc brakes. That is not the case as you will see below. Below is a picture of a four-cylinder bronco, which clearly has rear disc brakes
I know this...
I just wanted to take a second to acknowledge how ridiculous this situation is.
-I live 20 mins from the Ford Bronco Plant
-My Bronco will drive out of the plant, be loaded onto a semi and then trucked 650 miles to Stephens Auto Center
-I will be driving 650 miles in a rental car to Stephens...
So I have been going around to as many southeast Michigan dealers as I can to see if they can match the Granger deal.
Below is who responded - every single response was negative; "That makes no sense" or "pricing isn't even out yet"
Southgate Ford
Taylor Ford
Village Ford
Crest Ford
Gorno...
$2,500 for the Warn Winch seems insane given the cost of a 10,000lb name brand winch on the market today (anywhere from 300-600 from what I see).
Do yall think front mounting a winch will be as easy as it is on the wrangler? Me and my dumb high school buddies added a winch to my 98' jeep in...
Hello all.
I reserved my bronco within the first 12 hours.
Have not got this email from Ford that mentions mid-oct build and price as well as some deposit info.
Am i alone in this?
Okay - I have seen all of these insane comments far to often and really just want people to know what they are getting into or getting their hopes up for, or lack thereof actually.
1. The bronco is too small
Research off roading before you decide you want an off road vehicle. Small is good...
