a few things; first looking at it, people would immediately say "a plastic box can't hold your car!!!!" because it is so different
but it looks well thought out for basic straight forward winching.
I like these 6x6s, they're fun to look at. That's about it though.
Impractical, ridiculous, yes. Good fab work also though, gotta hand it to them. Not amazing, but good.
Even if I was given one for free, I would sell it immediately. Definitely a SEMA build and a dust collector the other 51...
Great to hear you had a good time! I have taken mine to moab twice; march 2022 for off-roadeo and again February 2023 for 3 days on my way to KoH. Drove through Hells Revenge by myself, didn't do any obstacles because I was the only one there lol.
The mods look good, really like the morimotos.
I really dislike those fenders because you can see the round shape underneath. Any plans to cut?
On the everglades they look really good since they're cut, these just seem half-effort.
I try to control my impulse purchases by adding what I "want" to a list and sitting on it for a few weeks to make sure I've thought it through. Many times items just sit in the list for months, other items get rationalized and purchased within a few days.
For example, I have 3 sets of wheels I...
Its straight forward, just two pins up front, secure the strap, then lift. my OVS awning adds 80 pounds so it takes a bit of extra effort, but won't be the case for most others. I lift and walk along my running board, step on my tire for a bit more step, then release the rack gently.
Takes me...
I do like it, but it depends on your uses and priorities. It has increased highway wind noise, you lose position 1 so if you fold back, you have to be in 2 (honestly in the summer, I wouldn't do more than safari style anyway), if you lift beyond sasquatch, it may not clear a standard garage door...
What I was implying was taking this "add heat to remove scratches" action and implementing it to windows that also sometimes get scratched.
Those windows can take a beating from the sun though, curious how well they would hold up.
Someone is going to try this heat gun trick and melt all their soft top windows.
"wouldn't have that problem with a hart top!" yeah yeah we get it, no one cares.
I experienced my first last week! A white wrangler, the dude (she looked like a guy) held the finger for a long time too, while maintaining eye contact.
Usually I like the eye contact but this was agressive.
For my setup (and most others) the controller port is under the hood so it get's opened anyway. You may desire to wire it somewhere outside which is cool, or have one of the newer winches with BT remotes.
