Anybody else experience this. A big bug hits the glass right in your line of sight so you hit the windshield washers at 70 mph. Since there is nothing aerodynamic about these Broncos, the wind bouncing off the windshield blows the washer fluid back on the hood. It's only a little mist that...
Heads up! If you lay them in at an angle instead of putting down one of the back seats, the bottom of your bag against the cheap plastic sides of the rear cargo area will leave a mark(s). Take it from the voice of experience.
I got in on the first group buy and the customer service has been great. I just installed the armor that I am going to test out in Hot Springs Arkansas next month to see how it holds up to the big rocks.
That's from Stickerfab. You are supposed to put the gloss Badlands sticker over the matte black hood decal. I didn't think there enough contrast so I just went with this.
I've been doing some upgrades here in Hartland. You can't see it but I also added the 3/16 armor over the Rockslide electric steps. I will be dragging over some rock in September.
I applied the Stickerfab door cup protectors, Plastidipped my pony, put Rapid Red letters on my grill and put this on my hood. I am not a fan of the big black vinyl piece on the hood but thought this was a good idea. Oh yeah, I put the 3/16 armor over my Rockslider steps, too.
I think this is the area in question. I have already noticed it getting scratched up from finger nails. They make the "cup" that applies to the bottom of the grab handle for holding your phone, etc. Someone just needs to make one that extends up to protect this area as well.
I will see you all tomorrow but not on the dusty drive. I spent too long cleaning this thing up after a trip to Moab to have to do it all over again. I will go off roading again another day on true trails.
James Duff had to back out but is still sending parts up with Bronco Driver Magazine folks so you don't have to pay shipping, at least until they run out of room.
