I also had the same issue, but the reset worked by holding power and ff buttons. At least it worked for a few minutes, not sure if it will be OK for longer than that

Looks like a great alternative to cutting the rock rail, I am going to give it a shot...if you post specs would be great, will send beer money...

I'm going to be filling up over the next day or two, and was going to put in the expensive stuff to see how it does with that. I still only have 300 miles on my Bronco so far, so i probably wont notice anything different yet since I am still driving pretty conservatively, but will try it.

oh $hit, i thought the big bronco ones were 250...450 is crazy... gonna have to keep an eye out for alternatives if you have rock rails.

I traded my 2002 Explorer in to Brewster ford...didn't want to deal with a 3rd party sale and figured they treated us well so I was fine not getting as much for it as I probably could have. Needed new tires, but only has 112k miles on it, and I just replaced the starter and the alternator on it...
