one more question, do you think it would work with the Bimini top....that way it keeps off some dirt/dust out of the cab from whatever you are carrying?
it looks like it would not block front and back mounts but there is one side mount on each side that uses a shared screw but I wonder if you...
this is really perfect for me, I would just keep the crossbars out until I need them and leave the rails on (at least during the warm season), very cool
interested, awesome setup,
I assume no-drill is that correct?
are the crossbars moveable (looks like they are bolted on)
also what is the weight capacity (dynamic and static if possible)?
I signed up for interest on the site with 2 crossbars
This is awesome, can't believe ford does it....60lbft of torque is incredible for a Ford tune
My only reservation is mpg and premium fuel....I suspect with like driving that it may increase mpg but if not the gap between regular and premium where I live is high so it is a tough call....still...
Ops measurement of 33.75” unmounted
bfgs of the same size (which tend to run small) are 33.75” mounted with weight on them
9.2”treadwidth is listed by Goodyear and insane for a 315 (12.7” tire)
I agree with op here, those are not true 315/70/17 tires, tread width is listed as 9.2" which is narrower than the 285/70/17 BFGs on my badlands non-squatch, they should be wider than that. They should be just under 34" mounted and close to 34.4" unmounted instead of 33.75".....looks like the...
completely agree, love the bronco over wrangler but the materials in the wrangler dash are lest plasticky (if that is a word)
I loved the 8 speed in the wrangler but the manual in the bronco is better than the 6 Spd manual in the wrangler
any updates?
from what I can gather you need the following:
bezel: M2DZ7804338BY (wildtrack)
APIM: MU5Z14G371AS
Screen: M2DZ10D885A
Cable: not sure part number
Harness: ??? not sure if needed but in f150 kit
old thread but thinking of doing something similar, would need brackets for front and then a bar that goes across...I do wish someone just made that as there are tons of hitch options like in that pic, could even run parallel bars forward to connect to front mount points
Had both, multiple JLUR wranglers and a gladiator with MOPAR lift on 35's (easy to install lift myself with live axles)
While the bronco badlands I have now is awesome it really isn't that much different than the jeeps....highway driving at high speeds and handling are a bit better but the ride...
Long time Jeep wrangler guy here also in and out of F150’s (platinum, raptor and most recently sport xlt)….made an impulsive purchase today and traded my ’21 f150 in (it was awesome but have been drooling over broncos for some time now. Found a nice badlands MT and absolutely love it…..Area 51...
I hear you, and the f150 I have now makes much more sense from a logical sense….roomy, comfortable, great tech and actually relatively great fuel economy…it’s the impractical fun side that pulls me in
That is awesome, yeah mine are 2, 4, 6, 4 and 6 in boosters and 2y/o in forward facing narrow convertible.
do you run high back boosters with the two outer seats and can your kids buckle them?
So your saying the salesman estimate of 6 months is likely wrong....lol
I am actually ok with a wait as my f150 is really nice but just wondering what kind of wait I am looking at...6 months, 1 year, 18 months, 24 months...
then again I can do a nation wide search and see what is out there
