Thanks for the quick reply with the info! I'm still working through the thread, but do you happen to know if Ford is now selling the 3.0 racks with the software programmed or are people still flashing it on their own at home?
I think @Bmadda was able to run the hoss 3.0 inner and outer tie rods on his standard rack before finally getting the heavy duty rack installed. I'm considering giving that a try but I'm still getting caught up on this thread.
To get Bronco level performance in the engine, they are cramming in a hybrid and touting the 465 peak lb/ft of torque.... LOL. Hybrid powertrains suck and I'm surprised it's the top trim motor instead of a twin turbo. Because it's a toyota they will be overpriced. A Ranger tremor is a better...
Clean the tailgate. Use a damp cloth, pinch the top edge and clean it really well. I've found that when it's a little dirty it rubs the seal causing the noise which I describe as the sound of a case of water squeaking.
Gotcha. So in theory, those spacers would have likely prevented the damage to your RC high mount and the frame horns are good? I've been reading through this long thread which seems to be the case. I was set on this winch mount for when the time comes but I'll likely get the LOD reinforcing...
I've found this problem on my '21 yesterday. I've got 13.9k miles. Looks to be coming from the rear output shaft seal. I noticed a line of oily residue on the fuel tank first. Basically it's getting on the drive shaft and throwing the fluid off in a big halo. Does not seem like its a TON of...
That looks like an impact to me. You hit something on it or someone else did. I straight up dropped my passenger side roof panel on a gravel road when I had like 500 miles on my bronco and it got a little scuffed on top, kind of looked like that so that's my guess. Also could have come that way...
This is pretty great! Thanks for the shout out! I hope you get good use out of it. I may still end up putting carpet on mine too. I haven't added any hinges as others have done and I probably won't.
I can't recommend the Deep Sleep overland mattresses enough. The form fit to the exact size of...
Yes I just rest it on the seat and hang the end from the molle panel. It doesn't have to support a ton of weight on the overhang, but using 550 cord is plenty. Hanging from the head rest is an option too. Or you could just pile up gear under there if you didn't want to use another wood section.
Well on your next go-round, call your credit union first and have your own pre-approval in hand before you sit down with the dealer to finalize sale. Sorry you got screwed.
Honestly, for me the 2.7 was a non-negotiable and I started my whole build based on that. I really wanted a manual transmission but since it was only available on the 2.3 I went automatic. I have Sasquatch package, a 4 door, and usually haul around a lot of stuff when I’m camping or hunting. I...
To follow up that question, any idea if the gravity pro 6 light bar mount will be low profile to keep the lights below the top edge of the rack? Kind of like the heretic bar setup?
I've done a decent amount of snow wheeling since getting my Bronco. Airing down is a huge help and I agree, the stock SAS tires perform very well. I mostly stay in 4H with traction control turned off instead of using any GOAT modes. I typically have not used the front locker unless I was pushing...
That is my friend’s rack. I don’t know what brand it is but I’ll find out.
In that picture I’m using a friend’s basket. Here’s a link to it
