So I installed my mabett roof rack, and it does look great, and build quality is very good. However, how do get the front roof panels off? It gets stuck where the front clamp is, and I can't get the panels off?
Am I doing something wrong?
I am by no means even close to an expert in this stuff, but I would have thought adding an amplifier before the DSP would not be a good idea?
I would also like to kick up my B&O a bit, and don't want to go nuts. So this idea is interesting, but didnt think you should send an amplified signal...
There are 2 harnesses in the pack, so you will be set. Crutchfield is pretty awesome, very impressed with them. They are plug and play, pretty easy process overall.
Yeah, i added kilmat inside the enclosure along with poly fill, which I was expecting a big improvement from along with the woofers. But was not impressed.
I also swapped out my kick panels for MJP6's - but I am also finding the same result that there isn't enough bass vs the OEM speakers. I didn't amplify them, thought just swapping them would be enough. So debating going back to the OEM speakers.
So before replacing the sub, has anyone replaced the kicks with woofers first (not 2 ways) to see if that helps with the bass?
I was gonna try that before tackling the sub...
I drove with Evan back in November since I went solo and he needed to ride somewhere. Good guy, and a great experience. And he let me open the engine up a bit on the "fast" part of the day since he was with me...
I think Amazon plays games with price history...I clicked on your exact link, so I know it's the same product... and here are the order details. Pretty shady on their part, and I always thought they did this. So not too shocked...
Wonder which speakers you used for the kicks? I was looking at the Hertz C156 F speakers, as they are a woofer with a slim profile...they should work I think?
Like the song selection, and glad to hear the difference in the kick speakers. I didn't think I needed to upgrade those, but after listening, I think I need to do that also...already did all the 4 inch speakers and it is much better, but think that will be the next step.
So I thought I saw someone a few hundred pages ago talking about going to Stag Hill Road off Route 17? Anyone know if that is still open for offroading and where you can get in? I was up there a few weeks ago and the place I thought I could get in was gated up...
Got my lights yesterday and everything looks fine. Planning on installing this weekend, but packaging held up for me, and install looks pretty easy by just cutting those wires and hooking to the Aux switch.
Yes, you attach wire "C" in that first diagram to the Aux Switch you want to use in the Power Distribution box, then wire the lights to the "C" wire by the grill. That would wire it as 1 switch for all of the lights. The lights only draw like 4 amps, so you can wire them to any of the Aux...
Its not a video, but this thread may help?
