I can't say for sure, but there is another product from 'Maxzina" on amazon that looks identical, and one of the reviews mentions that it can fit hard top with minor alteration.
I've been eyeing those molle panels on amazon. I really only want the lowers, not the window ones. Keep us posted on any issues. I'm hoping they are sturdy enough to mount my Kicker 10" sub to them.
I've found a couple that look high quality, but cost is out of reach.
Builtright Industries $255/side
Putco $360/side
Anyone come across anything similar at a lower cost? If I had a jeep these would cost $100.
Just found some cheaper ones on Amazon from china for less but lacking reviews.
Been meaning to say hi. Picked it up in July after 6 months on Ice Mountain. Big Bend. Put 2K into wheels and tires and about $1500 into the stereo. Ive got the sand colored seats. I really didn't want to go over 50K on this but I'm really tempted to get katskinz
I recommend taking the tires off the wheels and selling the tires on facebook marketplace. I sold my BB takeoff Bridgestones for $650 locally to a guy with a pickup. I'll sit on the BB wheels just in case I decide to sell my bronco.
For those of you with Kicker Key and the Kicker hideaway sub, what are you setting the crossover at? I'm confused because the Key has options for Hi-pass filter at 60/80/120/off and the subwoofer also has options for crossing over at variable levels. Not sure if they are redundant or...
Windows up and it's in the kick panel, not the door...so there is no way an open window would get water in there anyway. It's a location where I would doubt anyone would know if they had moisture in there unless they happen to take off their kick panels and remove the speaker and check...
I've been doing a multi-day install of speakers and amps. Last night, it rained quite a bit, and today I noticed that the polyfill I jammed in behind the driver side kick panel speaker is all wet.
That's not supposed to be getting water in it correct?
Any chance I could see this custom video? I'm at the tail end of my install (Power wires, fuses, grounds) and can't get the Hoel guy to reply to my emails. I just want to see how it looks under the hood.
I basically have your first option...Kicker Key and 10" Kicker sub with new speakers all around (self install), and I'm at $1200 including wiring harnesses and $100 in sound deadening.
I am installing a kicker Key which is 50 watts RMS per channel. Nearly all of the 4" speakers on crutchfield are 35 watts MAX RMS or less. JL, Hertz, Memphis, even some of the Kicker 4" speakers. am I going to fry my speakers if they aren't rated for 50 RMS or more?
If you're weight conscious, check the weight of the tires you want before you buy...I almost bought the Wildpeaks but they are 15# more than some of the other popular tires at the same size (285/70/17). It's not just extra weight on your ride, it's weight on the axle that your engine has to rotate.
Are you using a special type of felt or would felt carpet padding work? Also what kind of adhesive for the felt? Your answers are appreciated. First time through this.
I'm considering something similar...just to dampen the hollow sound going over bumps with the top on. Curious why you used kilmat and silex. I assume you used the felt on the plastic because it's lighter weight?
