2dr seat removal is fairly simple, 2 screws (bit provided in tool kit) and 2 bolts (18mm) and 2 nuts (18mm) per seat. Problem comes in the disconnect of the seat restraining system which leaves you with a dash alarm and alerts on the Ford Pass app.

That’s my hope too, seat removal easy but unclear as how to eliminate the dash alarm and alerts.

Did you have any problem with the Restraints Indicator Light? When I disconnected one of the rear seats on my 2dr Outer Banks the warning light came on and stayed on until I reinstalled the plug. Still have an alert on FordPass that won’t clear.

It comes with a variety of different size bags you can configure however you like.

However does anyone have a work around for the airbag warning light that comes on when the seat is disconnected?

All it takes is 2 screws (Tool supplied by Ford), 2 bolts (18mm) and 2 nuts (18mm) along with a wiring plug disconnect and the seat is free.

The dealer was able to track mine during rail shipment fairly accurately. He knew the day it arrived at the rail yard, just 10 miles away. He also agonized along with me when it took 3 weeks for the rail car to be moved into the yard and off loaded. So you might want to trust your dealer.

We have used the swivel step, mounted in trailer hitch, for years on our Lexus SUV. Works great for puppies and older dogs. This eliminated most of the scratches at the tail gate do to dogs not quite making the jump into the car. Plan to add one to my Bronco if it ever gets here.

Mine was built 7/16 and shipped 7/19 and I am still waiting. It has spent the last 2 weeks a mere 10 miles away but they can’t seem to get it that last little bit to the dealership.

8/20 - One week later and my 2dr OBX is still sits a mere 10 miles away; but here I am still awaiting delivery to the dealership.

My dealer reported on 8/13 that vehicle was at rail delivery site (about 10 miles away) and that they will try to get it expedited to dealership by 1st of the week. Ford sent me an email on the same day saying delivery delayed until 8/24 - 30. So I wait and see. Maybe this week? Maybe not...
